Yeah, there is a small argument, but if you buy her the gift and leave, you can see concern and sadness about you caring. Also if you call her out, I am pretty sure she is the one to text Ian first in ch.12, so she takes the initiative, instead of Ian having to text first.

I think in her mind, she isn't viewing the realtionship as a full relationship yet, cause she is still technically cheating, so calling her out, shows you care seriously about her, and gets her ro reexamine things a little.
yeah you are right i just went back and choose the play it cool part and yeah no ass grab pic (y)
but i have to say i can't wait to hear what she has to say about letting him grab her ass :giggle:
maybe she didn't let him, he just did it and she got mad at him and slap him :D who knows

doesn't she get mad when you call her out on her BS? like this "relationship" is over type of thing?

trust/love = ass grab
fuck you Cindy = good girl Cindy and no ass grab

makes sense

:D
On the trust/love path that you're describing what's actually happening is Ian is very concerned over Cindy taking too long to break up with Wade and thinks she doesn't take their relationship as serious as he does. Calling her out while playing cool makes him momentarily argue with Cindy, but also forces Cindy to critically think about their relationship when Ian tells her he wants clarity from her.

Cindy's reflection on the relationship can be seen by her being the one to text Ian, while Ian gives her the cold shoulder by not texting first until she gives clarity. In this path it's also likely she tells Axel to keep his hands to himself because she is thinking more about what that could mean for her relationship with Ian.

In other words the "trust" path Cindy isn't thinking as much about their relationship and Ian is ignoring the problems in it. The call out path is Cindy being forced to reflect on the relationship, which in the long run will strengthen their bond.

I kind of enjoy what Ian's job brought to the "life simulator" layer of this game. I think it can be a cool gameplay mechanic to have the player shape their own book. From a literary perspective, I also think it's been a solid source of motivation and conflict due to Ian's job as a reviewer foreshadowing how hard it is to get published even with a good story. And I think it has a solid place in the story as both the creative parallel of Lena's songwriting and an overarching conflict within the story--just as the city is fighting to keep its authenticity while facing soul-crushing influences, Ian and Lena are also facing the struggle of following their own dreams or giving them up for a safer route.

I am, however, getting a little worried about the payoff. First, it seems like a nightmarish headache for EK to write a satisfactory conclusion to this mechanic (writing a book synopsis for each combination that makes the player feel like these choices mattered, figuring out how they'll interact with other dialogue throughout the game, making certain combinations more or less successful, etc.) But secondly, we're spending an awful lot of time away from the mechanic, such that players might not care about the outcome when it finally comes, and will definitely face difficulty in seeing alternative endings without a save editor.

yeah (y)
if you stay on the love/trust path you get hot lewd pics from her and she is more playful in texts
but if you call her out you only get one pic with her covering up her boobs and she is more serious in texts, even deletes messages as she writes them so she is careful with what she writes to Ian

now i have both paths saved so we shall see what happens next :)

How do you get the search to display posts chronologically? Whenever I've searched before it brings up everything out of order and I have to give up and go page by page.
Well, in the "Search" window at the upper right corner of the screen there is "Advanced" button. When you push it, you`ll see the search options sub-screen. Push the "Search threads" keyword, and in the buttom there will be the function for searching order ordering. Mark the "Most recent" checkbox and read the last posts with the keyword that you type in the searching window. I suppose that`s it working in such a way.

Oh, and reading pages one by one from the end of the topic to the beginning is a possible way to search, too :)

You can also set it and forget it by going to your account > Preferences and scrolling down a bit:

The default search order was driving me mental until I found that setting.

Hey Guys, Ive enjoyed the debates.

Im going to do my best to not come back for a year or something. I have some interest in the Billy beach party trip but I just can't stomach the drip feed release and at this point it might be a year until that comes out.

will look forward to seeing you all in the 4000-5000
Ok, Robert...we will miss you!!!
See you tomorrow.

I'm hoping when we do jump back to Ian in this chapter, we get more content with the non beach trip girls. I want some Cindy, Alison, Louise, Ivy, and Gillian content and progresion. I also wouldn't mind Lena and holly throuple stuff.
That won't be possible of course, in the event Perry has already buried Cindy, Alison, Louise, Ivy, and Gillian in the bushes behind the beach house.

Have to say just reading the posts since the last update is really funny, the substantial anti-Seymour crowd here in special.:) EK showing that there are viable relationship paths for Lean/Seymour is more than several of them can stand, it seems. Had more than lust a laugh reading the posts.
Alsostill tring to find a single acceptable reason Cindy, characterwise one of the most bland and uninteresting in the game, has so many fans. As I mentioned before, it probably is her looks only, since even Bernd´s world-famous woodchip wallpaper collection is far more interesting than Cindy ever will be.

I think you mistake disappointment for dislike, at least in some comments. Plenty of people were interested in Seymour in here, but for most people that was because up until now Seymour promised a lot of escalating corruption towards Lena and then in this update his expression towards Lena becomes that of a starved puppy. Then they have a pathetic sex scene where Seymour more than anything really comes across as the old man he is. That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing but it is a rather stark contrast compared to expectations.
For people with a more resistant Lena there is nothing stopping you from just denying him direct intimacy and he just slinks off like a beaten dog.

Her looks is certainly part of it. I think she's far from the most uninteresting character in this game though. She actually has some goals and emotional struggles unlike some other characters, she has conflicts for you to interact with, with various characters and she has various states that makes her interesting on replays, depending on your choices.

Maybe you dislike these elements and that's fine, but it doesn't mean she's a bad character.

Yup no android versions. Even the one called Android in the kraken files version is pc. Bullshit but whatever I guess just hope mods know.
I actually haven't downloaded it yet but I just checked again and the kraken link shows it's a apk file so not sure how it would be for pc
