I honestly can't with people not noticing its alpha and then judging the whole goddamn with long freaking paragraphs. I don't know if its actually that or people who love a specific genre of porn trying to find flaws just to shit on the game. Its part of a chapter and in that its an alpha. Some are mad that there is no specific content, others are mad that there is too much porn content. Choose one ffs.
The alpha version usually has the full content with some bugs and spelling error, which gets fixed in the beta. The full version get an extra scene or two and nothing much. And people have choose, it's to get content on LI that the game has already build up, not the world famous "John", not more content on Robert. Like I don't know a single human being who likes Robert. And except for Eva's Patreon, nobody really likes Stan either.

I haven't looked back on this game in years. Does Lena ever get the chance to actually hook up with the older guy that runs the diner or whatever?
I remember reading that the dev said they will MAYBE add Eddie content later on after the game is completed as like a dlc or something.

Except it has overarching storyline with Ian's writing and Lena looking for her own identity - whether its modelling and giving up on her dreams or singing and pursuing them.

Your main antagonist may not always be something materialistic or "Big Bad Boy", it may be your own fear or something along these lines.

Haven't played ORS in a while, but it's way better than your conventional corruption/save the world/ fuck them all story.
That's the green thing they put around the beef steak in your plate :WeSmart:

Which brings me onto my theory, which is that I firmly believe that Eva, after GGGB, was always intending to make a male MC game. I remember her development diaries she posted back then, reflecting on the fact that virtually all the successful AVNs are with a male MC, asking herself whether the ought to also go this route to reach the same level of success. She was further saying that she felt done with the GGGB type of storyline, and was looking for some new challenge.

But then she got scared, I think, because all of the polls she was running, as well as the sentiment in her comment section, showed that the female MC was one of the premiere reasons for supporting her. So she gave in, settled for having two main characters, hoping that it would satisfy both ends of the spectrum and give herself the challenge she sought, but not fully recognizing the momentous ordeal this would become.
Lena's route is more similar to GGGB than Ian's. Most of the men in that were cunts or losers for most of it, why F95 liked them:ROFLMAO:. I don't think Lena's route is because of a lack of interest it's because of that "two games" thing. Lena is in GGGB lite while Ian is in a standard AVN. I think they're meant to be different rather than analogous by design.

If she wanted more money ditching Lena likely would have earned her far more money in the long term because male MC games are as you said far more successful (because the audience is seemingly mainly men) and Eva is one of the better devs in the AVN space. It'd also have made development a lot easier and shorter. She'd also have retained most GGGB backers anyway, it's not like we're all only playing female mc games. I would not have pulled my support for example. She went for the ambitious interwined story instead.

Honestly I doubt it was fear though. Devs and publishers ditch their built fanbases to chase bigger earnings all the time and she was virtually guaranteed it'd work. I think she tried to make something to satisfy everyone and that rarely works well for the person trying to please everyone. Now she has a mountain of work to do and it'll take years.
