Agreed! One of the problems with those more extreme storylines, is that they so easily end up rushing towards a point where it's impossible to develop the story further. Where do you go next when Ashley's become the cum dump of the gang, after breaking up with Eric by making him watch her fuck the guy who beat him up before he left? Or when she's doing gangbang porn without caring about who fucks her as long as their dicks are big enough? I think those problems were a big part of why GGGB dropped off in quailty and kinda lost its direction towards the end.I could not agree more. I could have just replayed GGGB if I wanted the same content. Secondly I feel ORS is less over the top compared to GGGB, scenarios play out more "realistic". GGGB went off the rails once the boyfriend character went to Africa... Which was admittedly fun at the time, it fitted the title of the game (I must also add that Arthur had the best sex scenes.).
As for the gang route, where to begin, two middle class Karens running what seem to be the "Latin Kings" of Evas universe was borderline unplayable. Ashley and Eva behaving like "Slim Jesus" after two lines of coke and a day or two in the hood. I feel it was EvaKiss worst storyline to date. Second place would be the porn route which was also way out there in my opinion, albeit it had comedic value. I've never heard about a white girl becoming the kingpin of a Latin street gang, and I can't remember or name a single (white) pornstar who started their career doing gangbangs and IR, but Ashley certainly broke barriers in porn and in gang life.
It seemed like EvaKiss originally had a blackmail type storyline going with the gang at first, but probably backed off due to patreon getting stricter rules at the time. I think that route would have been better than the thing we ended up with. But all this got a pass as it fitted GGGB's more pornlike setting. I also think it suffered because EvaKiss got tierd of doing GGGB towards the end. These type of scenarios would feel out of place in ORS, as it has a slower pace, and plays out a little more realistic. But who knows, I just hope Eva doesnt take any advice from here or her discord (myself included), and does what she initially set out to do.
The gang route, the incest and some of the other storylines wouldn't fit in with ORS anyway, since it's more realism than fantasy based, and because Lena and Ian come with a backstory. However I wouldn't oppose a few more realistic, but somewhat extreme storylines towards the end, with proper, patient buildup. In that case I don't think it would be a problem if they had some similarities with GGGB either, they would still feel different because of the more complex ORS characters.
I could see a porn route (through Billy and/or Ivy?) where the other characters are more than stereotypes, and where the focus isn't only on how many cocks Lena can take. Or Ian and Cindy continuing their relationship while she's still together with Wade, gradually evolving into a significantly less over the top version of the cucking of Eric – as long as Eva finds a way to make it belieavable. For example. As in real life, things can obviously be quite kinky also without any drama or any extra persons involved. Just two persons exploring different sexy things together, without the kinkiness being measured by how many partners you can fit into one playtrough. (Or fit into different body openings at once, for that matter, as in those more extreme GGGB endings.)
