I wouldn't be suprise if this is a startegy from some devs streching their last updates allmost to the end of year so they can have an excuse to not work on the next one till next year you know holidays, burn out, end of year yada yada, i mean you guys think that she'll start working on the next one this year, very doubtful... and there are a few very popular games who coincidentally have a late octomber, start of november releases if somthing else doesn't show up...

It was July 5th. You can check the Release Date on the first page. But that release is for the Final Version of the Chapter. Alpha and Beta were released few weeks before that date.

I know, but if the whole development process is longer, then it means she has more time to produce art. Sometimes the best way to overcome a deadlock in writing is to do different tasks for the time being and return to writing later, after clearing your mind and rethinking. I know I may sound overly optimistic, but I hope she didn't waste these additional months only on "overcoming writing difficulities"...

I think she has help with coloring and translations, that's it. Also more cooks is not always a good idea when everyone will be working from their homes.

Having extra help might not be ideal from her perspective, but the alternative is probably a lot worse for everyone and everything involved.

As long as Eva has the final say and the communication is smooth (she's gotta make sure she gets people who know how to be professional and are reliable), hiring additional workers is better then her keeping up the same crazy workload for 10+ more chapters and who-knows how many more years that will probably take.

Also, considering that the volume of work is unlikely to become less with all the routes she needs to write, if she doesn't make some change there is a good chance every update will take roughly the same amount of time as this, and she's only human - that constant pressure to produce results is not gonna be good for her mental health in the long run (if it isn't already wearing). It can lead to creative burnout and even abandoning a project altogether if things get too hard.

Sorry to be such a downer, but I genuinely want Eva to retain her sanity through the process. lol.

Considering what we saw of Axel and his reactions to Lena, I don't think it's likely he'd involve her in a threesome with another guy. He seems to want her all to himself and only willing to share her with another girl.

You're right, but maybe in this threesome scenario, it's not about Axel getting what he wants, but Lena getting what she wants for a change.

I mean, we know Axel wants Lena back, and that he's unlikely to get her back as he currently is unless she goes down the corruption path and is up for anything (in which case she probably wouldn't be exclusive to Axel anyway, so he could take it or leave it, and in this case he'd be taking it); or an Axel who is in love with Lena cleans up his act in some way so Lena will reconsider him as relationship-material. In the latter case, it wouldn't be unreasonable for a Lena who's become more assertive (sick of being the 'silly naive girl who was cheated on) to have her say in the sort of sex the have, and we know she's not against a threesome anyway, since she was okay with going along with the whole Cherry arrangement as long as she thought Cherry was just 'some girl', and not fucking Axel on the sly. So maybe she'd be open to threesomes in the future providing they're transparent about it - no more lying - and she gets to choose the third party sometimes too.

Anyway, that's just how I saw it potentially working if there was gonna be a Seymour/Lena/Axel threesome, and providing the player was going to get a choice about how much control Lena has over her life and her relationships (if they want it that way).

EDIT: That being said, you're right in that it would be hard imagining Seymour being willing to share Lena in any scenario, at least where he wasn't the one pulling the strings in the situation. Can't really fault that logic.

Axel and Seymour is a very interesting duo. They both want to corrupt Lena for their own selfish reasons. Although now they are working together (even though I suspect Seymour is using Axel without the latter being aware of it), it might end up leading to conflict betweem the 2 down the line, which could potentially lead to a very interesting scenario.

That does sound pretty interesting, too.

My theory is that Eva worked too much on Chapter 8 and in order to avoid burnout, she took a longer vacation. The real development of this chapter probably started in the last week of August. The release date target: end of September. Development went on and now we got a more realistic date: end of October.

I feel either she needs more help or the game will need to be downscaled. I think she has already mentioned something about the possibility of axing people like Ed's path if needed and I think she's rapidly getting close to having to make that decision. Maybe the thing with Stan is axing his route now that I think about it

Just to clarify - are you saying you do or don't like anal for Alison?

Because if you do like it (which is what I assume), I'm thinking that anal may be something that Alison eventually come around to, although it could be a while.

I know Alison said she doesn't like anal and won't do it, but we know that Alison starts out kinda conservative, both in the way she dresses and the way she handles sex, but we also see that she is both eager to please Ian (barking like a dog during sex, which I don't think any of us were expecting) and willing to bend to Ian's will in her attempt to keep him close (first being angry when he came inside her despite her telling him not to, then accepting it, and eventually admitting it was really hot - possibly loving to do it in future). We also see how much she insists on being the focus of Ian's attention, either by cutting in on his conversations with other people, or by changing up the way she dresses when Ian comments that he finds Cherry's outfit sexy (and it's sexier then what she's wearing). A lot of what she does is an attempt to have Ian completely to herself and only looking at her - she's nuts about him. So it doesn't seem impossible that her strict stance on 'no anal' might slip down the track, especially if she finds out that Ian has done it with other girls, and/or that he really likes it.

Personally its very much my main interest in real life, porn in general and gaming. But yes, now that I've thought about it, you are right in Alison having changed her character for Ian.

Personally I really don't like the idea of Alison feeling compelled to do it just because she knows Ian likes it, while secretly not being convinced herself. It's emotional manipulation if Ian recognizes these patterns of hers and deliberately plays on her insecurities and her feelings for him to get what he wants in future, but I guess it might work for a chad Ian who is only with Alison for the sex, has thoroughly hooked her, and doesn't really care about what she wants because he believes she'll love it anyway. Man, he sounds like an asshole in that scenario. lol.

I feel like even when you don't fuck around with anyone else, it doesn't seem like Alison is quite what Ian considers to be a serious thing or have the potential to become serious, which is partly why I haven't really played the route as my consistent route since the beginning but I only played through the Alison-only route once. Although I'm also someone who has played the Ian-Lena route for at least three chapters now.

If Ian and Alison are in romantic relationship though, or Ian at least cares about her in some way, I think it makes sense for it to happen more naturally and for Alison to be totally on board with it. Like Alison goes from having her misgivings to being a bit curious, and feeling secure and trusting enough in her relationship with Ian at that point to try it. Maybe Ian has helped her to explore some other exotic aspects of sex/bdsm by that point so anal seems relatively tame or normal in comparison, and something she'd be more willing to try as a result.

But you know, if none of that happens and Alison sticks by her refusal to do it, you gotta at least admire that she knows what she wants, and won't bend on every little thing.

I mean, thats fair. Its not for everyone and I feel like you shouldn't push it in both the game or in real life.
