People need to learn to separate games from real life. I frequently shoot people in games, but I would never shoot someone in real life. If you want to cheat on your partner in a game, well, it's just a game, but if you cheat in RL, you are indeed a complete asshole.

Comes down to a few things.
1.They never had offer's to even get a chance to reject it so they think like Stan of this story ( that they are the better person )
2.They got the offer but it was more in a hint form and it wooshed over their heads and only realized it a few years down the line.
3.Never had a relationship in the first place only situationships and because of that they think they have the moral high ground.
I have worked as a bartender both in nightclubs and normal night bars, it pretty much is kinda like the life Jeremy is living almost, just in a bit more realistic sense and not over the top like he is having it.
Human's fuck up and these people think they are above it because of their moral thinking, however one thing I learned it is not the way you think but the way you act and what you do to prevent it.
So they are puritans because they never got in a situation where the option or the right option presented themselves.
So can't blame them.
[Also to make it clear for everyone, not saying it should be fine or saying that it is the right thing or that I condone it, however the only way to truly prevent something is by not being or putting yourself in a position too in the first place.]

Polls and surveys over the years have found that sexual infidelity (cheating) is quite common. I've also been in a position where I was in a committed relationship and found myself propositioned by other women and if they're really hot it is indeed extremely difficult to turn down. All you people here being so scandalized by that are either exceptionally righteous or you've simply never experienced genuine temptation because no woman has ever offered herself up. All I can say for myself is that one of the nice things about getting older is that it has become easier to overrule my dick and, frankly, there are a lot fewer women interested.

Using terminology like "puritans" implies not cheating as some sort of high standard to be strived for and not the baseline for a relationship. If you can't even meet the basic standard of being not unfaithful that's on you, but don't try to drag everyone else down to your level.

Sure don't put yourself in those situations. But the men in those situations are not retarded children, they still have agency. My issue was not with OP saying not to put yourself in those situations, it was with him assuming the people here would act like he would act in those situations because of his own experiences in those environments.
