Upon reflection, I'm kind of okay with Holly suddenly agreeing to bone Mark just because Lena says so, because;
1- It's funny
2- Holly is naive, inexperienced and insecure. She has little willpower of her own and can be easily influenced by both Lena and Ian throughout the story already. I'm sure she knows it's cheating, but Lena is telling her it's the right thing to do, and she could be thinking something like 'if I don't get better at sex/become more interesting, Ian is going to think I'm too boring for him.'
I think the problem is that we don't see Holly's pov so we don't get to see her being very conflicted about it. Just look at the later scene where they set her up with Robert. She tries to protest, but eventually goes along with that Ivy and Lena tell her.
Additionally,I love Cindy, but the most amusing bad end for her will be losing Ian, Axel and Wade, only for Wade to end up with Ivy.
