I know it has been said before, but as much as I love this game, the open relationship choice really irks me. It is never said, that they are only open together, just that the relationship is open. So why all the focus on ending flings or cheating.

Also I really hope next chapter we get a beard and tattoos for Ian. It is in the variables after all.

Yeah, I feel you. It's a cool concept but right now I'm just trying to play all the different routes for Ian and I wish I could just skip the Lena-Parts completely, especially in all the routes where Ian has nothing much to do with her

I'm basically just doing the Ian routes and i make Lena lesbian pretty much every time because i dont find any of the male characters interesting.

Delaying the inevitable break up just for the benefit of being a bro to Wade isn't the payoff players are looking for when choosing to fix Wade and Cindy's relationship, and quite frankly it seems like a waste of time if you spend 9 chapters trying ease the tension between them and get them to compromise for each other, only for Cindy to end up bending over for douchewad Axel. Feels like a big "fuck you" to those of us who put in the effort.

I'm not saying she has to reject him immediately, but one would think that if you spend that many chapters trying to fix things, then there would at least be hints that Cindy will think about her relationship with Wade and think twice about indulging Axel.

I get it's a game and you expect to change every outcomes, but realistically despite all your efforts you can't save a failing relationship. Though I'm sure your efforts will be noticed by Wade

Actually including Ian for most of his routes male cast is nothing more than a garbage. Each and every one of them has at least one or two toxic traits and they live their toxic traits in extremes. It is actually sad for Baluart's women.

I’m pretty sure the Cindy path is just broken because EK hasn’t kept her variables in order. Or perhaps she has become so lazy that she has gone down the 1000 choices that only lead to save (kill Friend)/destroy (Save Friend) Arcadia Bay route, the epitome of lazy writing. While I can get behind that a cheater is gona cheat, I don't feel that this rule should apply to a multiple choice game.

In many western/european countries it is kinda 'common' nowadays to have sex a few times before you enter a serious relationship.

That's pretty much the entire world unless you're from some fucked up place like Afghanistan,Iran etc.... Or are you trying to tell me that casual sex don't exist in places like example Colombia, Brazil, Thailand and Japan?

The more i think about Cindy actions on the epilogue the more i think Alison is the best canon choice for Ian.

Allison has been my head cannon choice for Ian almost from the start. She really only goes crazy obsessive with Ian, the biggest complaint I've seen of her character, if he teases her, but never really shut her down. On a purely romantic route with Allison, the one were a player is required to restrain themselves and occasionally not chose the lust option, I think is a pretty wholesome relationship between the two.

It's really a shame that Lena only has Ian and Holly for wholesome relationships. Stan always comes on to her like an incel and Louise is always incredibly clingy and jealous of Lena spending any amount of time with someone other than her. Emma seems to be a budding option for her, but it still only leaves Ian as the only male Lena can have a health relationship with.

b) Marcel should have been used as a fling, fuckdate, maybe more for "corrupted" Holly!! Marcel actually recognised Holly and is a fan of her works! It would make much more sense to have Holly+Marcel scenes than this absurd, out-of-the-blue Lena scene!

On the other hand, maybe now Marcel can be used by Lena/Ivy to introduce Holly to BBC, now that he's been test-driven by Lena. Similar to how Holly/Robert can happen.

Beard and tattoo variables are in script's but beard have more chances for Ian said by EK herself.

Allison has been my head cannon choice for Ian almost from the start. She really only goes crazy obsessive with Ian, the biggest complaint I've seen of her character, if he teases her, but never really shut her down. On a purely romantic route with Allison, the one were a player is required to restrain themselves and occasionally not chose the lust option, I think is a pretty wholesome relationship between the two.

The "crazy obsessive" part is all the more reason for Ian to steer clear. Because it means she won't take kindly to being rejected by him. And if he's with Lena, she goes out of her way sabatoge his relationship. Perry, Wade, Emma, Holly, even Jeremy and Cherry have been supportive. But nah, Alison's all "I must sabatoge my friend's relationship because I never felt his dick inside me but was too scared to ask him out in high school." How childish can she possibly be?

On top of that she looses her shit when Wade is not happy with her wanting to be a model of all things, talking about childish and stupid career choices

Come on, let's be real, Ian and Cindy's situations are not the same as Wade's. Important difference, both Ian and Cindy have 9 to 5 jobs (Ian's is even in the book industry), Wade is collecting unemployment checks from the Goverment and that's about to expire. I just put myself in the situation that the 3 of them are my friends and they tell me about their situations and dreams:

- I would think that a serious ambitious chad Ian is doing well having a job on his desired industry with good promotion prospects while he works hard in his book during his spare time. Maybe he wins the contest, maybe he doesn't, but good for him for working hard for it. If he fails to be a successful pro writer (most probably outcome), he loses nothing and he still has his job.

- Cindy has a pretty much guaranteed job at her father's business. She's a hot girl that wants some excitement and tries to be a model in her spare time. Good for her, if she doesn't get to be a successful pro model, she can keep it as a hobby ahd she still got the enjoyment of the experience and her job to fall back on.

- Wade is a guy with no income except for the unemployment checks that are about to expire. Wade is 27 years old, I'm not an expert on pro esports (only know something about the LoL scene), but I have never heard of any case where a guy starts his career there at that age, more like that's an age for retirement for a lot of pros. It would be like if an unemployed friend tells me he wants to try to be an undrafted NBA pro at 27. I would ask how much has he smoked and tell him to come back to earth and look for a fucking job.

Yes, choices should matter but that doesn't mean they have to produce your preferred outcome. Like, for example, with Ian's book and the contest. Writing the best possible book maybe doesn't mean that Ian wins the contest because it would also fit with the game's background that the contest is just a publicity stunt and it's fixed and corrupted so writing the best book is not what you have to do to win it. But the writing of the game should not be the same if Ian loses the contest with a great book than with a shitty one or if he wins because he blackmails Minerva or is in cahoots with Seymour rather than because his book is the best and he wins fair and square.

I'm hoping for a romance path with Emma, i like her and her ass is divine. Cheating Lena is just for those who love NTR, you can make a faithfull Ian who only goes for Lena and make Lena a total slut who cheats with everyone while being with Ian, with Jeremy ( worst character ) probably being the worst since he knows you like her.
