I wonder how much of the writing block is due to the 2 protagonists. The dev is essentially writing 2 games at the same time and trying to keep track of all the variables must get exhausting.

I think the push to maintain deadlines is to keep the dev motivated when she faces problems aswell as to prevent accusations of milking. I do think that she's in serious risk of burnout eventually and I wouldn't be surprised if she took an extended break after the game is complete or a shorter one within 2 chapters.

Sure, Lena is EKs likely favorite in a sense, they are going to get more of the screen time so to speak. But again, EK is the one who decided to go with two protagonists this round. If she was smart (which is questionable) she would have had this story already planned out in a sense. Or atleast a true general theory. Thats not the case here. It's all hodgepodged on a whim storytelling with pandered content ad nausaum.

In all likelyhood IF EK were to do a third game, she's not gonna do two protagonists again. She's already sinking this ship metaphorically as is with the story and such.

I'm thinking chapter 12 is focused on the beach party and mma, 13 will be to cement relationships and 14 will have them move in together/career focused. I just have no idea how this will be done to maximize the drama for the future payoff.

Most of the drama seems like it will either be connected to whether Lena got with Ian or Axel. Or Wade's relationship with Cindy. I'm having a hard time coming up with anything for the other pairings (well besides Mike).

MMA is done for Ch12 now the focus is on Ian's part of beach and dealing with Lena's debauchery + other sexual encounters with Emma, Lena, Holly + Sexting with Cindy(I really believe this will be topless sunbathing on yacht and depending upon path AxelxCindy will happen of not). I do agree with you about burnout. I believe writer's block is the result of this "when you've 2 protagonists and buncha content + giving Poll characters content even if they appear once in polls, stagnant story no progression since ch10 making ch11 and ch12 filler chapters as of now, bringing cameos and including them in main story than giving them content too. In amidst of all this, not to omit the fact that you've to put up with scammers and on top of it release the said quicker updates + reworking IanxIvy, Wade, Stan and Ch11".

Yup those are Cameos. Every character is cameo except GGGB cast. EK mentioned it in some Q&A forgot which one was it. She didn't specifically named them but right after that Q&A we got these cameos.

So, Elli might be limited to cameo only, but EK is keeping track of her variables, but she did it with others cameo characters too and used only to tease Ian in specific routes and Elli variable was also used to tease IIRC.
So, can't say how much part they will play in the story.

I highly doubt they'll play any part in the story, I mean they are just cameos after all.
