Simple, I'd argue Wade is a way better bro than Jeremy. If your Ian isn't constantly undercutting him to try and get with Cindy from the start, he's a pretty reasonable guy. He doesn't whine and moan as much as Perry, and he doesn't go out of his way to out-macho you like Jeremy at the gym or with girls.
Separately, imagine in the same vein as some of my or luca's posts, if EK wasn't so anti-swinger there could be a super fun path where you could either do the current in-game Cindy route, effectively breaking them up.....or be a bro to Wade and he eventually went for some mmf action with Cindy.
By only playing the most recent updates you have, effectively, navigated your game deftly dodging scenario fixes EK has retro-actively put in it.

To be fair-(and you probably know this if you're as familiar with the code as I think you are)- there's so many instances of patchwork fixes in old code-like the Lena-Ian Ch9 relationship talk is chock-full of stuff like this. Or Alison having several instances where it checks for both (not ian_alison_dating) and (alison_jeremy), even though they're mutually exclusive (dating var requires v6 sex which explicitly requires no jeremy-alison v5 <--yet this required for alison_jeremy).
So it's not just like "play the official version and everything works 100% and you see 100% of dialogue"

Well this does not have to be, depending with how you play ORS. For example, I have a path with Ian/Alison a dedicated couple, but her being blond haired and wearing the hot clothes. (And the two having fun with threesomes)
