This was something that did annoy me when I was supporting multiple Patreons. On some, the same character or two would always win the content polls. Even when they were my favorite character, it got annoying. You'd have characters vanish from the game for long stretches because of it. That is one aspect of polling that does negatively impact the game in the long run. You do realize that the Holly Trinity doesn't unlock until chapter 12. Until then, you're either dating one or the other. I do think it's easy, but I also did it on my first blind playthrough. There are even two paths to it, either dating Lena or dating Holly. There is only one point that might mess you up.
If taking the Lena route:
Tell Jeremy in the bar that Ian is falling for Lena>go to bookfair>don't kiss Holly>have Lena decide it was only a kiss.
If taking the Holly route:
Tell Jeremy in the bar that there are no strings attached with Lena>go to bookfair>kiss Holly>date Holly
And of course, always choice options to spend time with these characters, have lunch with Holly instead of Alison, meet Lena and Holly instead of Alison, etc. If worse comes to worse, ask and I'll post my save.

Despite the fact that I currently have 18 playthroughs (yes, despite the fact that I claimed burnout, I went back and did a few more), I would say I only have one main playthrough, which is basically the Holly Trinity I did on my first attempt, although I did go back through and optimize it. The rest are mainly to test various combinations, explore routes, and unlock gallery scenes. I will probably pick other routes as main routes, but it likely depend on the endings. If there are endings I like, I'll probably go back and optimize paths to those endings.

In most of my playthroughs, Stan declares his love, without teasing or general encouragement, no matter what. Similarly, I'm not very interested in Cindy: I have a Cindy love, Cindy lust, and a manwhore Ian route. Still, if I went to Wade's birthday instead of the bookfair, I probably would have ended up on the Cindy route. Even without an interest in Holly, meeting Victor at the bookfair is just too good of an opportunity for Ian to pass on in most routes. I imagine this may be influenced by player's gender and bias from personal experiences, but there can be quite a difference between "i was just being friendly and not encouraging at all" and "drawing a clear line early" women unfortunately have to learn fast in their lives, so that every random deluded asshat like Stan doesn't confuse basic decency with "she's clearly into me and encouraging me to hit on her".
I mention it, because in my experience with the game Stan doesn't declare his love, because i have Lena draw this figurative line early, by nipping in the bud his ideas about taking her photos. You can then remain polite with him afterwards, but with established boundaries and relationship somewhere in the middle of the range he knows better than try to wave his "sword" around Lena.
