Does anyone know how many chapters Eva has planned exactly? Because it really does feel like we're reaching an endgame here (especially with Cindy's situation).

Or it could just be me, don't know

Do you really feel like that? I feel like Cindy and Holly's relationships on the Ian route have barely reached their beginning and we're 7 chapters in.

I think it's mostly because of what happens with Cindy, not gonna spoil it for anyone here but it's certainly something that changes the status quo (more so than Holly's situation).

it would really surprise me if the story would already be at it's end. i mean billy only just got introduced. ivy still hasn't had her debut yet. i'm pretty sure lena should have the option of rebound sex with axel, or even getting back together with him. the situation with cindy or holly has only just begun. there is still nothing going on with either ed nor ward. we barely know what's the deal with alison. and most important of all: lena and ian have yet to come to a conclusion what their relationship's gonna be.

considering when evakiss ended GGGB, which story was running thin and sex scenes overflew at the end, we have still a LOT of things ahead of us. not saying that ORS is gonna go the same way as GGGB did, but to think the game is anywhere near finished, would be a huge disappointment

Well, if the game really is around 20 chapters, we're still just around the 35% mark, so we're not even halfway.

I felt it just became a big "fuckfest" after Eric came home/or Died. Some hot scenes, but the story had stagnated. I also got a overdose on Arthur/Tyrone content... I was there for "good" Jessica, sadly she was moe or less forgotten past a couple of cute scenes, (or threesomes if she was Bad). I think ORS had already started to brew in EvaKiss mind at that point, she seemed to be in a hurry to close the show.

I think that before finishing, in the middle of the story there will be a time jump. There are two icons on the agenda that have not been used yet: the broken heart and the rings. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a time jump of a few years in your thirties and with family.

Also Ian's atomic bomb has yet to appear: Mary Jane Watson Gillian. If Axel can make Lena fall for the temptation, Gillian will be Ian's weak point.

I think i remember Eva saying she wasn't gonna show up (i may be mistaken though).

There are also a few bugs left in the final version of GGGB so it shines through here and there. It also felt like the thing with Hugo was going to be bigger, but given that Ashley can just not give a fuck about that it's not so central to anything really.

I feel like Ian's path is nicely tied up as a sort of "act 1 climax" like others have mentioned. In Lena's path it also seems like the whole Louise/Jeremy/Ivy thing is reaching something similar to that point, I am unsure if we should see the bottle game as that. I feel like there might be few too many variable strings that maybe needs to be tied together there. Maybe ch. 8 will serve more of that for Lena's path?

It is my dream that Gillian comes back because she's so beautiful. She could be another option for romance for Lena.

A time jump is also useful for pregnant sex (six months or so). But I wouldn't want that to happen now. Maybe have a few shorter time jumps during the last third.

Huh, you know, in all the various scenarios the game could result in, it surprises me that this is the first time I've seen this option spoken of. I've not even thought about Gillian, like, at all. Could be interesting.
Yeah it probably isn't happening, since I do remember someone saying that Eva said she isn't planning on making her a real character. But why? Her design is stunning! Why waste it? And this would cause Ian such emotional turmoil, it would present many great opportunities! Maybe they could get back together? Maybe he'll be anguished to see his bro Jeremy tap that ass? Or his now-ex girlfriend Lena?

Me neither. My preference would be no time jump at all, but if it were to happen, right now just seems so... soon? Like, we've just now come to really understand the routines of each character, it feels like some events should still transpire with the framework the story's set up so far.

I honestly don’t see how a time jump would work in a choice based game like this. Never been a huge fan of them in fiction in general.
Well, GGGB had timejumps too, but those were used from the start of the game and were framed rather vaguely within "days, weeks, months, etc."

ORS has been going from day to day, it's a more... rigid? timeflow. A timejump suddenly in that narrative structure would be like dropping a cannonball into a koi pond. It can work, it just stirs up a lot.
