i'm not so sure on the porn route. i mean, i really would like the porn route, as i like the prostitute theme as well. although for the latter i havn't seen a game that made it right (or at least "right for my taste"). repeating the same elements might not be the best course of action, but what made GGGB's end so cartoonish was the airheaded way Ashley easily joined. with Lena this could be made way more serious. besides she already does stalkfap, which is pretty much a copy paste of Ashley's streaming and also kind of porn-y on it's own. considering the photo shoot with Axel and Lena, all that was left for it to become porn, was insertion.
so even though a porn route might not be that new and exciting, EK can still do another spin on it for the story to be still interesting and enjoyable. anyway old is not immediately bad.

I understand not wanting to declare that porn route is a definite outcome yet, or how specifically it will come to pass, I am still waiting to see where the Billy thing goes until I decide what to predict.

GGGB was in many ways more extreme in its character changes and narrative tropes, not just the porn route either, for example Eva becoming a bbc slut after her first time trying, disregarding any supposed romantic feelings she'd previously expressed towards Ashley if you were attempting that relationship, not to mention both of their thug routes.

Still, I feel it's almost a must for a game of this nature and with 12+ chapters left and Lena on the borderline of being able to be a camgirl by now, I feel like it has a good chance of turning into either porn or VIP escorting, keep in mind Lena's money woes. The game is partly framed around this concept of how far Lena is willing to go to keep an income.

I think it will be more gradual than Ashley's porn route. Eva seems to be trying to make the character developments in this game more evenly paced.

But regarding a porn route in ORS, I think it will definitely be an endgame for a super corrupted Lena. I think Billy's content will be for now only erotic modelling and softcore stuff (not much different from what she can already be doing with Seymour, but with even less of an artistic cover to it), then I think eventually Ivy will introduce Lena to escorting (yeah no way she's making THAT much money just from stalkfap), and then finally both of those things will eventually culminate into Lena becoming a porn actress. I do wonder if such a route will go for a more "broken" tone (troubled girl is forced to give up on all her artistic aspirations and becomes just a sex object for an exploitative industry) or if it will give it an "empowering" spin (Lena finds in her lust the passion she had been seeking all this time, and embraces porn acting as performance art, the form of expression that finally clicks with her life).

Not a bad idea. Actually, wits does represent Lena's creative side so something that could be really interesting might be if Lena could become a porn director, only featuring herself when she wants but otherwise wanting to create porn that attempts to make some sort of statement; artistic, social, political etc. an extension of Lena's views on nude modeling if you will.

It would also be an interesting way to take the "empowering" theme, that you don't necessarily have to be the person in front of the camera. You can be the one in control from behind it.

I feel the same way. Althought many people may think otherwise, not all pornstars are dumb bimbos. There are some extremely intelligent women in this line of work. There's a youtube channel where Holly Randall (Holly Randall Unfiltered) interviews regularly several people from the sex industry (mainly pornstars, but also directors, escorts, cam girls, therapeuts, activists, etc), and you can see that many people in this line of work are actually incredibly smart. A few interviews came to mind as extremely good examples of this, such as Kate Kennedy, Lena Paul, Sasha Grey, Asa Akira, Alina Lopez, Abigail Mac, Tori Black, Jenna Haze, etc. Another good example is her interview with Amy Taylor, a professional escort.

This doesn't mean that the porn dumb bimbo stereotype is a myth, but it can actually be a bit less generalized than many people think.

In terms of narrative ORS seems a much more developped story and I hope it can offer some alternative paths that are less cliché then GGGB further down the line. I think we agree that ORS will be less extreme than GGGB. EvaKiss has pretty much stated as so. GGGB had a 'porn route', her Instagram, but all the sex was either solo or with other characters. Ashley could also prostitute herself several times, but that were single incidents, not a route. So I doubt there will be a porn- or prostitution career for Lena in the game. Maybe a end state, likely single cases where Lena can whore herself out and obviously a Stalkfap path, but this will be more about people she knows. Well, that is my opinion at least. We'll see

I think this aspect of Lena gets more attention because, at the end of the day, for many this is mainly a porn game and stereotypically/traditionally/generally we expect the female character to pursue such themes in a more professional manner than what is likely to happen with the male pov character.

Even so, I also feel like Ian's book pursuits lack some short-term payoff. With Lena's music you generally have an impression of how well you are doing because you gain willpower for making the right choices with her song writing. The tournament thing is still fairly new, but it's a concept that's fairly easy to grasp: Ian's gun' be fightin' sum' blokes, yeah? Watching his potential success will be fun of course, but so far we only really know that the tournament will happen and not what stakes will come with it.
