Perhaps it is time to start the community wiki project. Tracking all the paths is hard, especially for a single dev who is not used to planning too much ahead before writing.
That's a great idea but I'm not a coding "expert" so I don't know how I can be useful. :-/

I hope she takes all the time she needs and accomplish what she set out to do. Coding is freaking hard, writing stories that ties itself flawlessly even more so. Combine those two I honestly don’t know how she has done it so far.

By her high quality product, I can wait for another month or two, no sweat.

Giao's studio is working on a new background for this upcoming chapter. Here's the sketch for it... Can you guess what's the place it's supposed to be depicting?
Here's a tip: a sex scene will happen here, and it might surprise you...
Hmmm It'll say it's holly's room, and surprise would be the sex scene been between her and Lena instead of Ian.

Happy 4th anniversary

1619385688804.png

I never really keep track of these kind of things, but this time I realized it just before the day came: turns out today is the 4th anniversary of me starting this Patreon page.

Time does really fly. On the 25th of April, 2017, I launched this page after having been working on the prototype for GGGB. I was hoping some people would like my first try at a VN and to earn a bit of extra money, but I never imagined where this journey would take me. Now, 4 years in, GGGB is wrapped up and ORS, my second game, is in full swing. I'm very happy with how my creations have progressed, and super thankful to everyone who made this possible. Hopefully seeing how what I create keeps getting better justifies the money you entrusted me with.

I'm grateful to everyone who supported me at any point, to the ones that were there at the start, to the ones that came in recently, and to the ones that are still here after so much time! I have to thank Breadloaf, who has been there practically since day one, going out of his way to help me improve the game and taking care of stuff I was too dumb or busy to learn to do myself. Sdevil and vBerlichingen have been helping with the proofreading, which is incredibly valuable to me (that part took me FOREVER when I was doing it myself). Lara and BloodyMares are doing an incredible job helping me now with technical stuff, quality control and the official walktrhough. Thanks to Cabot for his continuous and spot on bug reporting, to Brother Bethor, Suricat, Stopper, DarkDrap, BrightHeart and other people I'm forgetting to list here.

I'm as committed (even more so) as I was at the start to keep improving and delivering fun and finished games, so feel free to tag along for the ride. It would really make me happy :)

I did some digital archeology and got my hands on the lost, first ever release of GGGB. If you're curious to check it out and see where everything started, and how far we've come, you can download it (I only found the PC version, sorry).

Ian needs to go to Africa, then return and become an alpha male.
As the story progresses Ian turns into an "Alpha" assuming you pick the correct choices.
In my "true" run I made sure that Ian got into a relationship with Lena, remained faithful, and is helping his friends with their relationships. I also got him working out and writing his book properly.
I can't wait for him, to win the tournament and writing contest
Now if only I got my shit together like i did with his.

I'm a big fan of this game and GGGB but one thing that's never been explored and could make Ian a more interesting character is exploring homosexuality. A kind of criticism I have is that these games take on a sort of typical "male gaze" (I think the creator is a woman though). When it comes to the women in these games they go both ways without hesitation.

Perhaps the author intends to explore this in future games and I know some people would not like it but the games always give you the options not to do stuff. (plus if you're bigoted then you probably won't like games with interracial stuff) I'm not a member of the LGBTQ+ community but I'm sure others would like the games to be more inclusive than they already are.

Trying to please everyone doesn't get you anywhere. If the dev doesn't wanted to make game about it the first place, that's mean he/she shouldn't do that, just because some people want it. If I discover the game that I like to play, and lets say, the main theme in it is corruption, after that the dev deicides to add optional romantic route, which go against the main theme and and simply wasn't needed there. The question is, why this people even go to threads where is no kinks that they prefer? For example, I will not go in gay thread if I'll notice some good looking girl on the preview and will not ask the dev to make optional straight route. It's just ridiculous don't you think? I - as a player of certain game, with certain theme, expect for this game to remain true about it and don't change it's direction in the halfway, so I won't feel like the dev's time was spend on things I'm not interested in. For patrons it even more important, because they paid for this. I genuinely think that the players influence on the games should be set on minimum, some suggestions about improving original authors idea is welcome, but not changing the original ideas of the author.

Sorry for such post, it's not some offense for certain person above, it's probably just scream of soul, because I kinda tired of seeing such posts in almost every thread of games that I'm interested in, and people who doesn't like what game about and they suggestions, what author should add or delete in his/her game. Usually I see such post's in NTR and female protagonists games, where people ask for male mc instead of female, or get rid of NTR etc. So this really started to get on my nerve. In normal situation, I would just ignore this, but unfortunately there are developers who go along with such players and the game turns into a mess of different people opinions. I probably wouldn't have stated such a position in other threads, but here, as I noticed, most people are reasonable, and they do not make such statements, so I think they would agree with me.

I see no reason to start policing what people suggest here regardless of intent or Eva's feedback/work ethic. ;)
Eva's community is opposed to this forum anyway so I doubt she reads what people post here.

Eva has avoided gay content so far, fine, I see no reason why people can't suggest it. I'm not a user of gay porn but Eva's format would suit its inclusion, I don't see anything wrong with making that statement and discussing the values and implementation of its potential addition. All in a sensible mood, mind you.

And when feel yourself like in the mine field, so you will never know for sure, you just patted him on the shoulder in a friendly way or took the first step towards hookup with him
Jokes aside, I understand what you saying, probably it's just my general opinion about any kink suggestions, because I really think that to each his own. If you like certain theme, find game about it, don't try to change existing game for yourself.

Sometimes I really glad that some devs don't visit this site, comments on patreon surprisingly more polite and more often will not go against main position of the author, or it's just happens that only profiles I seen was like this.
I also forgot to add in previous post, that I even seen ruined game ratings, because it contain certain kink, not because the game is bad, but because they don't like particular thing in the game. I hope it will also explains why I don't like it so much.

Oh I do understand where you are coming from, it's certainly not unwise of any developer not to too readily run along with any and all odd suggestions, but I also think we should elect to trust Eva to measure her own vision in relation to possible suggestions. I think the quality of GGGB and ORS allows for some trust that she knows how to temper public opinion with her own creative pursuits.

I certainly don't fault those that choose to ignore the opinions of a freeloading crowd!
Still, I think it's important that you as a creator keep an eye out for any and all sources of feedback and not censor yourself to avoid harsh language. I see enough sensible discussion on this thread that I think Eva could easily extract some value, but ultimately I think she's probably fine from what she gets from her patreon and discord pages.

I must admit to not browsing the forum enough to have an impression of my own in this regard. I've seen various topics get surprisingly heated before, so the impression you share don't surprise me.

She already mentioned not having interest in doing it. However i do find it very amusing all the gay undertones between Ian and Jeremy.
Friends (who don't lust after each other) don't exchange dick picks and jerk off to it.:LOL::LOL:

Writing this chapter feels like knitting a convoluted tapestry, trying to make sense of all the threads and ordering them correctly so the final picture makes sense and I'm not skipping anything. This means going over scenes a few times, realizing I forgot to add something or deciding this should go there instead of there, so that other thing can happen later and that other thing is foreshadowed, etc, etc...
Eva is about to face the acid test of her ambition. She's planted multiple branches with multiple characters, and now must find ways to continue them. I hope she makes it past this first great hurdle of many, as her story only gets more complex from here.

I think Eva has said that she will not be doing any homosexual content for Ian in ORS. Well at least I recall someone posting about it here, I never actually saw the comment made by her.

But I wouldn't get my hopes up for any Ian related homosexual content. Just saying.
