Yeah, it's usually pretty long between updates but the content per update is HUGE.

I think the amount of content per update is pretty good, if you're like me and have multiple playthroughs going on at the same time, it's immensely satisfying to play through each chapter more than once.

I certainly get more bang out of my buck with consistent trimonthly updates like this than certain games on this site that take upwards of 6 months to update (for about 15 min worth of content).

Am I the only one here who had no interest in touching the LenaxRobert route? I tried all the routes except his. I wasn't that interested in Mike either but at least I gave it a shot-

No interest in Robert or Mike. Might be interesting to play as Robert, some schmuck punching way above his weight-class, but not much good reason to select him playing as Lena. Mike as a selection for Lena is just boring to me.

Who said anything about 5 months? She's just taking some weeks off. Chapter 8 Final was released only last month, and Chapter 9 has already reached its mid-development point, and Eva is about to start writing after her rest, and judging by her pace, it would probably take no more than a month to finish the chapter, 2 at most.

In my perspective, I see the relationship between Lena and Ian is somewhat different but still it has so much to offer us in the story. Specially from Lena's point of view, her ideas about her modeling career and flexibility that she has about others seeing her naked body at her work, give strong signals that Ian needs to have good understanding about Lena's profession and specially about the fact that it's her profession to get naked in front of her coworkers and other involved people. This will really work with the Billy's involvement in the modeling industry. When Lena decided to accept the Billy's offer, it opens a chance for Billy to shape Lena's career path in the future. Obviously, Billy's intention might not end up in modeling industry but smoothly step into porn industry as well. But at the initial stage he might do some solo shoots with Lena and other models (May be with Cindy also) and eventually shoot some artistic nudes with the involvement of male talents. (Mainly with Jeremy, the bouncer and Billy himself or some new Afro males with similar vibe of Tyrone's friends from GGB)

This might be a big deal for Ian because of his personal thoughts are not into sharing stuff. (When Jeremy ask Ian to show Lena's nude images at peoplegram unlike Jeremy, he just refused to do it.) but in Lena's perspective "it's just professional work and she's just doing her job and she has nothing to hide from Ian" At the beginning, the shoots happen without any porno sexual interaction but eventually things should get sexier and more intense. Billy should play a major role in here and he should clear the doubts of both Lena and Ian with very professional approach. Billy's artistic / modeling ideas should be developed into more sexual and intense level and eventually Billy should ask Lena to participate artistic soft-core content which demands sexual touches between Lena and her male coworkers. (Holding penis, Guy touching Lena's private parts kind of stuff should be involved at this level). At this point, Lena should have clear separation in between her modeling career and love life. Things that she does at her work has nothing to do with her love life, because she has everything that she need, in her current relationship with Ian.

At this point Ian should also have to have moderately clear understanding about Lena's thoughts and her honesty about their relationship. There might be friends of Ian, who directly questioning Ian about Lena's career and stuff. (specially someone like Perry) Even though he also has some debuts about the limits of her profession, Ian should defend Lena at those situations. At this moment Billy and his team should set up the ideal moment for Artistic shoot with "Real sexual interactions" in their list of work. At that moment Lena may also have some doubts about "how would this impact her relationship with Ian" but eventually it should fades out when she realizes she only has feelings for Ian, and nothing can distract her bond with him. She must explain this to Ian and convince him in favor of this decision. Ian may have lots of debuts about this and might need immediate explanation from Lena about this whole professional work. (This discussion should happen before the shoot and if Ian interested, he should be able to see how things are happening in the set)

With that Lena should explain Ian about all her inner thoughts and how she feels about love between them and should make a strong and clear impression on Ian's mind about her thoughts about their relationship and her modeling career. As an example, if she has to have sexual interaction with one of the Afro male talents at the shoot, she is not doing that because she needs to have BBC or any other lust that she is missing in her relationship with Ian. She is just doing her job and when she is on it, she will do it as a part of her professional work and nothing more about that. There is no romance, no sexual lust or feeling of guilt in her mind. After she finished her work, she goes back to Ian and all the love and romance happen in there...!!!

If some creepy dude try to approach Lena and try to have some casual sex with her, it just not going to happen because she is not a slut that cheat on her guy. This also apply for her coworkers too and it also not going to happen (Even though they are having sex on sets). For Lena sex is not something happen casually, it is something that you do with your romantic partner, (at this point with Ian) and except that she will do it under her professional work with the per-defined set of rules in very professional manner.

For the other people that outside of modeling industry, Lena might be a slut, a prostitute that sell her body, or a cheating maniac that do anything whatever her profession demands. But in her perspective, she is doing her job and she has nothing to do with other people's thoughts on it. She is not cheating at all, but she knows she can’t change other people’s minds about it. And that’s why she finds Ian as a special person that try to understand her life with his unconditional love and affection. And that’s why their bond is so strong.

After all these dramas, things should not just end at Ian’s and Lena’s wedding just like in GGB, the story should move forward after they even got married. Yes, there should be a decision whether Lena continuous her work in porn/erotic art industry. Whether Ian and Lena decided to have a baby? When Lana is pregnant with their baby whether she decided to continue her work in porn. And what will be Ian’s thoughts about all these things happen in their lives. We must understand that Ian is okay with Lena doing porn not because he has cuckold thoughts, or he is enjoy watching other men having sex with his wife/girlfriend. He accepts that as a part of Lena’s life, and he will support Lena until she decided to end her career and so on.

How this going to affect Ian’s relationship with other people. How does his parents, friends and coworkers going to judge him with all these things that happen at Lena’s professional life as Lena and Ian define it? And how Lena going to defend herself in front of her parents specially with her father? Will Molly and her husband Ed will support Lena at this point also or will they have different thoughts about it? From Ian’s and Lena’s perspectives this has nothing to do with slut shaming Lena or Cuckolding Ian, it’s all about how things happen between two of them and the way they accept it.

I am not quite sure what you mean with 'romance'. On one hand Robert is not because he is just sex but Minerva and Mike are? That is a too vague term.
I think it is more interresting to consider relationships that exclude each other as they would be game mechanics. I am pretty certain that Axel is one such option, as is Mike. Ian and Holly are near certain. Louise is possible but she is missing this exclusivity, Lena openly fucks around and Louise accepts it. I don't see a relationship with Seymour, at least not before the time skip.
For Ian, Lena and Holly are also near certain, and Alison is likely. I am not so certain about Cindy, it is likely to happen, but it is still pretty open how this will play out. The outlier would be Cherry, mostly because Lena has a relationship with a secondary character so why not Ian too. Minerva will stay a sideshow in my opinion.

With Minerva, in the last event with her (after the sex where her husband rings in chapter... 7?), providing your relationship points with her are above 3, you can ask her to try being nicer to you, and she thinks about it for a moment and than agrees. If you choose that option it automatically changes your relationship status with Minerva to 'dating', which suggests something a bit more solid then just random fucking. There is also the fact that when you have sex with Minerva Ian's choices are either hate fucking/selfish/taunting, or more intimate ones like kissing/teasing/caring for her pleasure too (which increases her relationship score a lot more). I mean, when you consider the 'softer' choices for your scenes with Minerva, it does give the indication that something more might come of it in future. IMO anyway - hopefully it's not just wishful thinking. lol.

With Mike, he seems to show some feeling for Lena, but it's still hard to know whether that's coming from a genuine place or not (iirc - it's been ages since I played Mike's route). Only time will tell.

Robert is a different case, since his route has been going for long enough to make some determination (unless he suddenly gains a personality, which lbh, isn't going to happen).
With Robert, if he actually showed some interest in Lena beyond fucking her then it wouldn't be so bad. Example, when she tries to get to know him near the start by asking questions but he gives her nothing, like 'why are you even asking me this?'. But he looks at fucking Lena like a status boost or validation, and the only time he talks to her is to find out when they can fuck next. When she wants to break up with him he's upset not because he's losing an amazing girl he cares about, but because he won't get to fuck her anymore.

Fucking Robert is like fucking a human dildo, and still feeling it's a downgrade from an actual dildo. You get less from him then a bit of silicone.

Game isn't finished. It goes alpha -> beta -> final on every numbered update.

The game is far from finished. Someone wrote after update 0.8 that about 1/3 of the game was reached. That means we can expect twice as much as before.

Hi everyone! I just got back from my trip and I'm back to work. Lots to do for Chapter 9, and hopefully I can tackle everything full-speed.
When I revealed the new designs for Ian's new outfits you were underwhelmed. My goal is to always stay true to my vision of what I want to create, but that doesn't mean I don't pay attention to your opinions and consider my choices. Normally you guys give me a lot of praise and credit, so when so many people show concern about one of my design choices I take that very seriously, and try to improve on it if I'm able or I think it's worth it, which, in this case, I think it is.
I still want to keep the designs simple, so they don't get in the way more than they should when producing the illustrations, but I've tried to add more color and "punch" to the outfits, making them more flashy and distinct. I've also scrapped the Lust turtleneck, since it seemed to be a poor choice according to your opinions, and switched up some of the outfit-stat correlations.
I've added a new Wits outfit, consisting of a beige, long-sleeve, cashmere-style shirt. I think it keeps the elegant vibe I was originally looking for, with more subdued tones, making it casual but hot, not nerdy. How do you feel about this new design?
So, now I have two possible ideas for the final layout, and I'm not sure which one is more fitting.

In this first one, I've moved the black shirt to Charisma, trying to portray a slick, well-dressed and confident Ian, while moving the original Charisma outfit to Lust, playing off that cool urban look (or fuckboy appearance, if you like), noticing how that style is similar to Jeremy's, who's main trait would be precisely Lust, while the Charisma look leans more to an Axel/Seymour vibe.

In this one I've kept the original Charimsa outfit in place and gave the black shirt to Lust, since some of you guys mentioned it was more fitting here than in it's original Wits place. For some reason I'm not too sure about tying this more elegant look to lust, but I'm not sure where the Charisma outfit, with it's distinctive necklace and chain, fits more properly. To me, the black shirt gives a more suave, classy and subdued look, while the red hoodie, chain and necklace are more bold and in-your-face.
Let me know what you feel about these changes, and if the new Wits idea looks good. If I don't need to tweak anything I'll probably make a poll for patrons to decide between lineup 1 or 2.

This is so much better. I prefer the black shirt as Lust. Otherwise red can be used instead of maroon for the shirt.

I also prefer the black shirt as Lust. Bit of a bummer that the colors are still so dull, and Ian could really do with some drawstrings instead of the fly/zip for the athletics pants. Jeans looks weird for that outfit.
Also, the red jacket thingy is meant to be a hoodie? doesn't look like it at all... and that outfit doesn't look 'bold' to me whatsoever. Okay, truth be told, I just hate that (now) red jacket outfit in general. Doesn't suit Ian at all IMO.
