So I don't think that it would be a production issue limiting the implementation of tanning, but keep in mind that every single alteration in the game will need alt art and sprites. We have piercings and tattoos already and with tanning options those tattoos might need recolours of their own to appear right on tanned skin too.
So I don't think we will get tanning as I am assuming we will get other alteration options.

Base. She basically draws over real life porn images. It's why some characters have uncanny resemblances to real life pornstars.

No. All the sprites and every image with Lena would have to be done twice. Tattoos and piercings are often not visible and can be simply overlayed. A new skincolor can't be overlayed, the whole image has to be redone. Coloring is different, lighting is different. Twice the work. You don't know what you are talking about. Changing colours of sprites is an easy thing to do. And much easier than adding a bunch of tattoos for different angles.

She's admitted that it does, at least in some scenarios. She talks about it in her behind the scenes patreon posts about Holly's sex scenes (I can't recall if it comes up for both her Ian and Lena scenes).

If it really starts crimping her style, she should probably find a more versatile artist to work with, there's plenty of people that are capable of supplying her that "need".

Don't disagree as such, but given the quality of the Holly scenes, all 3 of them, I'd say she's come out of the whole thing with grace.
Of course I'd more agree that one should consider your advice were these difficulties set to repeat. Hopefully Eva has learned a lesson from the Holly content she's made so far that aids her in any future hiccups.
I think her main difficulty with the Holly scenes is that she wanted to properly portray tender sex between her and her two possible lovers, where I think Eva is more used to the more typically "obviously depraved" scenes that dominated GGGB and take better after tracing porn scenes.

Your edit looks pretty good, honestly - the nose is really big improvement, for sure, and the subtle lines you added here and there look good too. The only thing that looks a bit off in your edit is how it looks like she has no eyelashes at all, just eyeliner on. I'd add a few lashes on the outer corner of each eye to remedy that.
