As much as a women might enjoy a male gaze on such games, I have the right to prefer if the female protagonist could be delivered from a female gaze. Women, men, can enjoy anything they want. Me, as the individual person that I am, I'd love to see Lena's side through a female perspective. So even if Eva's gender isn't important, as much as I enjoyed both of her VNs overall, I'd rather to see a female perspective of things.

The reason why I decided to speak up is because it is the second game and both games I kind felt bad for the girl I had to play with. I believe the first game, my character end up with girls and the trans character. She didn't get far on the professional career she chose because she'd have to submit to some males wishes and demands. Since she didn't, she couldn't get too far.

And that is my criticism about the game. You don't have to agree, it will still be my opinion and something I'd like to see different, maybe on next games. A girl can date a thousand men, can work as a prostitute/escort if she chooses. Become a porn movie star. I'd just like to see the girl being on control without any male trying to end her career just because she won't become their sex toy and I'd like to see more nice options of men for her to choose, so she won't end up with some shitty guy, since I want Ian to have a relationship with Holly.

Axel tried, Robert as well and the old fucker. And when she rejected them, at least 2 of them tried to fuck her life. If you don't make her fall for him, she never relinquishes control of the situation when dealing with him. He is the one trying to win her back and owns up to his mistakes. Part of it is calculated manipulation, part of it is sincere, but she does have the upper hand in her exchanges with Axel unless you specifically make her lose control.

No backlash as I'm aware of, neither here, on Patreon or Discord. My guess is Eva will make a post or two in the coming weeks about the most important changes and the plan ahead, just as she did with Stan before the work on the remaster began.

Lena's path is literally based on the corruption path of GGGB. Eva couldn't implement that part into Ian's path so she put all of it into Lena's. She does not have much control over her situations because that's how those kind of narratives are structured, Mark Olsen is right in pointing out that she lacks much agency. I don't know why ppl are trying to act like this is wholeheartidly "realistic", or that it's not happening, even Eva admitted that Lena has too little "good" options hence why she rewrote Stan. I mean don't get me wrong, dudes in general don't treat women well, but the game is obviously designed to put Lena in desperate situations so "getting corrupted" becomes a more feasable option.

I don't necessarily agree that games like these are the cause of mysogony, cause lets face it's been around way longer than "porn games", but obviously it's going to validate mysoginistic idiots even more(ppl who can't tell that porn is not real life). Do i think corruption games should dissapear? no, but they defintely could be written in a way that actually explores something, or makes the female character more than just the village bicycle(give her agency and have her choices make sense for her character). In the care of ORS Eva does try, GGGB showed that she is straight capable of this(an the women in this game are written pretty damn well), i think the dual protag thing just took her for a ride, and that we will probably see her take a more nuanced approach going forward.
