I met up with Good girl Jess and she said Ivy remind her of herself when she was young she's playing a dangerous game.I read through some of the earlier stuff again. Ivy really is a fickle bitch if Lena isn't going turbo slut mode.
You know how friends can be going through totally different stuff in their lives and have different outlooks? And how real friends respect each other's values and decisions? I speak from experience. True friends don't try to "corrupt" each other or think less of someone because they are not into all the "cool" shit they do. In fact, they know the path they are on isn't the most promising and will try to protect and keep the ones that decide to walk the straight and narrow from straying.
Ivy totally thinks Lena is acting like a loser bitch if she is on the good path. If Lena gives her a modest gift for her birthday, she just throws that shit to the side like it's nothing (and Holly's book as well lol). Damn that's cold as fuck. You can't treat your "best friend" like that no matter how much of a materialistic thot you are. Then if she is dating Ian, Ivy will say that, "it makes her wanna throw up." Then back-peddles a bit to make it seem like a joke. That kinda puts her approaching Ian in a sinister light.
Then there are a few other times where Ivy really lets down Lena, like with the Axel stuff. You kinda have to wonder. Is Ivy really just a free spirit that wants her friends to be sexually liberated and join her "girl power" club? Or is she pulling some shit behind the scenes and is up to no good?
Yep, like in Ch11, photoshoot instead of drawing event and meeting EmmaSeymour may forbid her to go out of Belaurt or some other scenario.
Or she simply is making a joke about it. It's hardly uncommon for people to make fun of the lovey-dovey shit people in relationship go on about, along exactly these lines, that it makes them wanna throw up, without any malice behind it.Then if she is dating Ian, Ivy will say that, "it makes her wanna throw up." She's pretty clearly trying to figure out situation after she didn't get that Wildcats contract, investigating Cindy and any/all people even tangentially related to her (and Axel, by association)the whole talk with Ian this update got me wondering why she's telling Ian all this in the first place?
You might want to get over that mindset that attitude towards sex is the only factor that matters in whether people want to spend time together.yep this is again one of the reasons why slutty lena/ ivy should only be on corruption holly path
There's actually 3 points in the latest chapter where Ian can influence Holly's change.Ian can push Holly by complimenting Lena early on, siding with Lena at the park, calling Holly sexy, and now in the latest chapter telling Holly she is hot.
It's the delivery. Normally, if someone is making a joke, they would be smiling instead of deadpan. Yes, deadpan delivery is a thing, but Ivy doesn't seem like a person who has that style of humor. By itself, it might be nothing, but putting everything together, it does lead to a possibility that she is a bad actor that has orchestrated some of the shit happening in the story. For example, isn't it a possibility that she had some deal with Axel to get him closer to Lena in exchange for the Wildcats thing? Of course, it could also turn out to be nothing sinister like that.Or she simply is making a joke about it. It's hardly uncommon for people to make fun of the lovey-dovey shit people in relationship go on about, along exactly these lines, that it makes them wanna throw up, without any malice behind it.
Real man, breed that cowI don't give a fuck if Alison baby traps me. I'll make her pump out 6 more in 2 years.
I'm pretty sure before that an event will involve Perry for another threesome or voyeur fetichReal man, breed that cow
Ivy is generally good friend for Lena if you accept her motives, as she describes them, as true -- she has Lena's back (she won't tell Axel where Lena lives, e.g. because Lena has asked her not to), offers Lena advice which she thinks is the best in her situation (the actual quality of said advice is debatable, but it fits Ivy's personality and beliefs) She respects Lena's choices -- she won't try to push again drugs on Lena who refused them once. She respects Lena's decisions, too -- it'd be very easy for Ivy to wreck Lena/Ian relationship e.g., simply by revealing to Ian that Lena fucked Axel. But she keeps Lena's secret instead, despite your belief she hates seeing these two together. But Ivy is not a good person whichever way you slice it. I say that most characters are multifaceted with good and bad qualities, but if I try to name a good quality of Ivy as a friend (like in real life and not a porn game), I can't really find it.
Fair enogh. I really want to find out what she's all about lol. We are almost there!Ivy is generally good friend for Lena if you accept her motives, as she describes them, as true -- she has Lena's back (she won't tell Axel where Lena lives, e.g. because Lena has asked her not to), offers Lena advice which she thinks is the best in her situation (the actual quality of said advice is debatable, but it fits Ivy's personality and beliefs) She respects Lena's choices -- she won't try to push again drugs on Lena who refused them once. While i agree that the writing does leave possibility of Ivy acting suspiciously, this is, like you note yourself, only a possibility with the alternative that Ivy isn't actually a bad actor. As such, i disagree with the statement that Ivy isn't a good person "whichever way to slice it" -- it requires slicing it in certain way to view Ivy as a bad person. If you slice it the other way, treating what Ivy states to be her motives as truth, then she can absolutely be viewed as a decent person.
Well, the whole thread has a serious Gen Z vibe for a long time now. The discussion about Alison and the blinkerwearing users ganging up on her and the users defending Alison is very much the proof of this. So, I went to sleep, woke up and people are still talking about Alison
I still dont understand whats the issue, she is acting somewhat rationally, even more than most females would in the same situation.
She didnt try to sabotage Ian fucking with Cherry, Emma or Lena.
Nobody's car got keyed or other property was destroyed.
No pets were put in a microwave and no death threats.
Again, Alison is an ok woman who got an itch after a break-up with a guy like Milo and probably she got some serious sexual frustration to take care of. Why would she wait for Ian to make his move when Jeremy is an easy option.
I would say she is a shitty friend for offering her friend Molly, but thats just me.She respects Lena's choices -- she won't try to push again drugs on Lena who refused them once.
By this logic you could call Emma a shitty friend for offering Ian drugs, too.I would say she is a shitty friend for offering her friend Molly, but thats just me.
Emma is worse because she is offering a shitty designer drugs to her friends like some cheap-ass crack whore that belongs to the streets.By this logic you could call Emma a shitty friend for offering Ian drugs, too.
Might be different people to people, but to me there's a big difference between offering drugs at the club(especially when it happens more than once) vs offering them at home surrounded by friends. Not saying I think Ivy is a bad person for offering them, just that I see Emma's case as much safer, even if the drugs she's offering are stronger.By this logic you could call Emma a shitty friend for offering Ian drugs, too.
Oh yeah, most characters in this game are shitty people. This game has the worst tropes in friends w/o benefits department.

Leaving aside it doesn't happen more than once if you don't take it the first time (the second time Ivy takes the drugs she makes it a point she won't offer them to Lena who previously rejected the offer, and you need to burn will point to get them) i'm not really sure about it -- at the club there's also more people who can potentially notice something is wrong and help (including the club security) while at home these friends you're surrounded with can be very well stoned out of their minds themselves and unable to offer any assistance.Might be different people to people, but to me there's a big difference between offering drugs at the club(especially when it happens more than once) vs offering them at home surrounded by friends.
At home, there are all kinds of people who migth want to engage in vigilantism or heroics.at the club there's also more people who can potentially notice something is wrong and help (including the club security) while at home these friends you're surrounded with can be very well stoned out of their minds themselves and unable to offer any assistance.
