I do not remember the choices I made for this route in the slightest. Alison has some pretty decent development towards the end of chapter 11. It wasn't as great as Cindy dominating most of chapter 10, but it wasn't insignificant. Allison obviously took a backseat during the beach house since she isn't there, but I could see her taking up more of Ian's chapter 13 if you're on her route.

I'm honestly surprised at how much Minerva and Cindy were given in comparison to Allison though during the campfire on the beach. I would have expected a selfie from her as well, if she was the romantic option.

I both agree and disagree with you here! On one hand, Stan actually has quite some potential, but he is not used well and some of his development is clearly into the wrong direction!
I have a bit of a soft spot for Stan and he would work great as a spleeny, socially inept, but warmhearted guy. This would also bring some sense into the Stan/Lena romance, with him trying to impress Lena with some wellmeant, but hillarious due to his social problems attempts to do so. The non-assh... variants of Lena could find this cute and give him a chance.

Unfortunately Stan over time was developed not towards a spleeny, funny, nice "half-creep" (e.g. him liking to watch could be a plus point for an exhibitionist Lena), but towards a problematic full time creep.

Simple, I'd argue Wade is a way better bro than Jeremy. If your Ian isn't constantly undercutting him to try and get with Cindy from the start, he's a pretty reasonable guy. He doesn't whine and moan as much as Perry, and he doesn't go out of his way to out-macho you like Jeremy at the gym or with girls.

To be fair-(and you probably know this if you're as familiar with the code as I think you are)- there's so many instances of patchwork fixes in old code-like the Lena-Ian Ch9 relationship talk is chock-full of stuff like this. Or Alison having several instances where it checks for both (not ian_alison_dating) and (alison_jeremy), even though they're mutually exclusive (dating var requires v6 sex which explicitly requires no jeremy-alison v5 <--yet this required for alison_jeremy).

So it's not just like "play the official version and everything works 100% and you see 100% of dialogue" - the ceiling has raindrops for everyone.
