It's the last day of the year, and I’m bringing you a quick status update—most likely the final one before the release of the next update. My plan was to have it ready by now, but it shouldn’t be delayed much longer: all the artwork is finished, and I’m currently writing the last scene of the chapter. Once that’s done, I just need to test everything to ensure it works as intended and fix any bugs I come across before releasing the Alpha. I still have a few social commitments to navigate, but I hope to wrap everything up this week. Fingers crossed there won’t be too much code to fix!

A year since proper Lena pov. Not considering all that "short pov shift to Lena, whoops we're out of time, back to Ian now!" shit.
Hopefully there's something fun in there and it won't take another whole entire year until we get back to Lena again after it's done.

So 2024 was
- 4 months for Chapter 12 Part 1
- 3 months for Chapter 12 Part 2
- 1 month for Chapter 12 Epilog
- 3 months for Chapter 13 Seymour
- 1 month for Chapter 13 (I graciously ignore that it technically is released next year, since its only a few days)
Depens how good and how much chapter 13 is, because 3 months for the Seymour part was abysmal, I assume the bulk of chapter 13 was also done during that time. I expect Chapter 13 with 4 months total to have then lenght of half a chapter.
Slow pace, but it is a pace. 1,5 chapters per year, this could take 2 years until chapter 16, the first possible chapter that could end the game. But if its 18-20 chapters, we can add another 2-3 years for a total of 4-5 years. Does Eva really want to spent 10 years on this game? Its already 5 years.

I mean, technically the latest release was all proper Lena pov? It was just sullied with Seymour. :hidethepain: But the rest of it should have less of that flaw.
What about proper Lena POV on beach vacation? We didn't get that right?

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of how that was handled. Not that I couldn't see it, but because it happened in such a way that I had no way to steer her away from it. If I'm going to cuck Ian, it's going to be with the characters that I want Lena to bang. It kind of removed the player's agency, but I supposed maybe that was the point, to show how out-of-control Lena's getting, and if that's the case, well done on the fourth wall break.
Completely unrelated to that point, is there a way to extract the character profiles and sex scene art from games like this, and replace it with something else? I just want to experiment, and see if I can make the art look realistic with AI, and then reinsert it into the game.

I think there's at least one user here who's Robert's fan.
You could probably use UnRen tool to unpack game archives (specifically
images.rpa) into individual images and then replace these, but this would be quite a bit of work.

I wouldn't say anybody likes him because he isn't supposed to be a likeable person, but a few people (myself included) do use him for his intended purpose as an early game fuckbuddy for Lena before dumping him when he starts getting clingy.
