The thing is, the game currently forces Ian to be on shitty terms with Alison if he's not in a relationship with her or he's not cheating on Lena with her. I feel like it's building towards an ultimatum of sorts between them, and I don't see Alison suddenly realizing the error of her ways and apologizing. If she does change or grow up, then it'll only be if Ian cuts ties with her.
