Yeah I'm fine playing either in either, but if given the option tend to go female protagonist in vanilla games, male in porn games; although that's mainly because most porn game devs lack the imagination to write female protagonists as anything other than submissive fuck meat (or to be fair, don't believe there's a market for it).

I'm not surprised about the poll... Ian being an ass is not what I'm looking forward too same goes for Lena being a slut. it feels forced when i think about it. Maybe, if I was 18 i might like it but im in my late 20s so this kinda hits hard. This might be the reason why I always make sure that I have a good jess instead of the bad one, sure you can fix the bad one but its lacking the content when it comes to fixing her and i highly doubt this game will last for another 4 chapters, hopefully good or bad jess ends up in wedding (either from Ashley, Dave or Ian).. she deserves it the very least. This applies to other Ian's LI (except for Cindy shes a total whore than bad jess and/ivy combine). I also made sure that Lena ends up with Holly or Ian (dont like the whole love triangle is not my thing, coming from experience). Idk, much about wade, but hopefully it doesnt end up with suicide... cindy cannot be fix. I do hope that Ivy would turn her life around because during my multiple playthrough she seems to be in the process of getting fix by both MC

Presumably GGGB started out similarly. I would have never played it if it wasn't for the fact that we can break up with Eric close to the start of the game.

Very few porn games feature a female lead who is also entirely independent and free to act on her own desires, that is the kind of content I enjoy personally.

I don't really play male MC games myself but at least on a forum like this they are tagged so you know if you're looking at a post for a female, male or multi protag game. I can just ignore those games.

The MC starting in a relationship doesn't have a tag though and is often even left out of the game's description too, so it can ambush you. I usually search threads with female protags for the words "boyfriend," "crush" and "husband," to make sure I'm not wasting my time on something with it or the inability to end those relationships.

I don't really like it for male MC perspective either, I have zero interest in Ian/Gillian and Lena/Axel. Similarly I am not very fond of Ian/Lena either because the game starts out promoting them as options for each other really heavily.

Well Axel is involved with Seymour, Ivy and Cindy so regardless of how I feel about him and Lena as a pairing he'll be around for story purposes and I'm good with that.

Gillian I thought was a dull addition to the game so late, I would be interested if her and Lena could somehow get involved, even if only casually though. For Ian's route she's clearly just cuck bait. Happy for the fans of that, just not my thing.

I totally agree with what you said, it would be an improvement for me if it happened like that, maybe we have the option if we can use Lena to convince Ian with the MMF trio, who would be a better option Mike or Jeremy? Ian simping for Lena when they're not in a relationship is a storyline I want to play on a non IanxLena save, but it's wildly inconsistent over the course of the game.

One minute he's saying he's cool with her not liking him and just being friends, the next he's fantasizing about her while jerking off to her nudes and getting jealous of other men flirting with and/or hooking up with her. Make it make sense, EK!
