It's simply the narrative trying to make sense out of player's decisions -- it'd be silly for Lena to claim she's sooo in love with Ian if in reality she's picking options marked "i'm sooo head over heels for these other dudes".

EK didn't want to create GGGB 2.0 and has said it multiple times. The dev told the peeps to simmer their expectations on raunchy scenes because it would be a semi-realistic game.The game is really huge and has many variations of actions, the characters behave believably. But at the same time, it seems too drawn out.
It also lacks spicy, like in Good girl gone bad, if you know what I meanI don’t know why the author was afraid to add such content as an optional add-on

Yes I do think the writing is weak since people can be complex and make irrational choices. But maybe she is just justifing it in her head and it will develop more in later chapters. So I will reserve judgement for now.
And regarding Holly and Emma maybe they don't know the reason for the breakup and that's why they are relatively nonchalant so I will take that back as well
Yes, I read that the author does not want self-repetitions. But the fact is that a lot of plot elements carried over from the first game. She could have simply written: I’m afraid for my Patreon, I just don’t see any other reasons not to add kind of halfbrother to the game.
For the sake of greater realism, the player's interest is also lost. By chapter 4, the player simply gets tired of reading mostly the same thing.

Well this one of the few adult novels where I'm staying more for the story than the scenes to be honest and was already a fan of Eva kiss's previous work. Very few authors these days can make a good adult story with female protagonist in it.Not at all. Have at it you filthy degenerate

I mean, on one hand this is a bit of edge case. But on the other hand, like the other poster points out, if you were in relationship with a girl and that girl out of a blue jumped on a cock of a guy she's known for all 10 minutes and whose only interaction with her was, "nice tits, wanna fuck?" then you wouldn't really fool yourself into thinking "acshually, she truly deeply loves me", would you? Yeah it's not a bug. Emma even asks if Ian would be okay with it and Lena ask about Perry and they agree to have sex after they both come to the conclusion that it's fine.
