Did you put your Ian on the cuck route, by chance? Other then opting to cheat on him that's the only way for Lena to ask Wade instead of Ian, iirc.

EK did use AI for some backgrounds (especially the beach event and Ian's ex's Insta page), but I don't know if EK ever used AI anywhere else.

To be honest i agree that car is pretty yucky, but that's because it's painted magenta, not actual pink.
