I didn't realize how much I needed this, and now I want someone to mod all of the Allison game assets to make her a redhead.

Isn't Alison sporting a burgundy hair colour by default? It falls somewhere between red and blue on the colour spectrum. I'd say a proper blondie colour suits her just fine.

I would say she is doing it for Jermey but she is hoping it will get Ian interested in her.

She pretty much always goes blonde. Even on a love route she'll text Ian and ask how he feels about dying her hair blonde for a more "Summery" look.
Keep in mind however if Ian ignores her, she'll of course hookup with Jeremy. But she is also using Jeremy to suss out what Ian likes in a woman. Jeremy, being kind of a himbo, doesn't pick up on this, so he is telling Allison what he likes in a woman. Turns out himbos like bimbos.
That option got added later. In my save for instance Alison will never go blonde for Ian and also won't ask him about it. She only used to do it for Jeremy
