She actually has not! Seymour was never intended to be Artur 2 or the drug gang in GGGB, even if many fans thought so when he was introduced as the main antagonist. There are levels of antagonism. Also Seymour, despite his selfishness, is capable of being kind and helpful, when approached correctly, something e.g. Artur never was.
It laso was clear from the get go to me that there would be at least one Seymour as a Lena LI path.

Who's saying Seymour should be Arthur 2.0? I thought the appeal of Seymour (for those that liked him) is that while his patronage and manipulation were sexual, they weren't based in regular PiV sex, but something more voyeuristic, and likely twisted. But Rome threw that away for a mediocre shag and some fancy jewelry.

Ugh... I'm done with the headache Cindy route causes. I tried so many ways to save Wade/Cindy relationship and it's doomed either way just with different flavor. I will just stick to choices that make sense and if dev decides to rebel against them playing out how they should then that's that. Next update will reaveal if there is any way to save that relationship or not. I really hate how Eva became a legend because any tiny little thing was weaved into the story later on multiple different routes, but lately seems like some things appear and then are forgotten or 180'd. Eva dangled the "Yes I want you to cheat behind Wade's back" delicious forbidden fruit in front of me with Cindy and then made sure that no matter the effort that route blends into just another random sex scene with no relationships and emotions - her staying with Wade is the most important thing about her route. Either fulfill the buildup or do a rework taking out all the various options messing with the players. Yes I'm a bit mad and this is kind of a rant, sorry.

Wade/Cindy breaking up is canon. You, as a player, decide how their break-up goes.

  • Wade loses his shit because Cindy breaks up with him first and have Axel grope her ass. (Ian casual path)

  • Wade breaks up with her first and is taking it pretty well by moving forward. (Fight for Cindy path)

  • Wade loses his shit because Cindy breaks up with him first. (Ian love path)

You're right that right now there's no way to save their relationship. The difference come from how bad the break up is and how messed up Wade ends up being. I also doubt this next update will reveal if it can fixed because they literally just broke up.

I think by the end of the game there will have been a way to have saved their relationship. But the break up will have been necessary. Both of them need to reflect on how their behavior led to the break up. And Wade needs to do a lot of self improvement. That can't come from just Ian cheering them on from the side. So time away from each other could end up being what both need if Ian made sure they ended on better terms.
