What did you liked about it? It was fairly generic. They meet, they fuck. No explanation why they are interested in each other. Louise is still the most rushed love interest on Ians side.
Louise has an overly emotional and impulsive personality, and a rushed romance path makes sense for her. She has the idealized romantic tendencies of a teenage girl and has been ogling Ian for some time. I thought Eva Kiss nailed the scene because it works, narrative-wise, regardless of player choice. The same can't be said for many of the hookups on Lena's side of the story.

Hopefully Holly's family will be added to the cast soon, and will be met by Ian & Lena, and the others and not be just an off screen character anymore.

I can see them being varying levels of awful, but also possibly good depending on who they are meeting and how much Holly has changed or not. They are supposedly very christian / conservative.

Faithful Good Guy Ian + Holly: I can see them being warm and friendly to Ian in this scenario. He is a writer like her. He is not a player sleeping around a lot. He seems pretty respectable. They may even encourage him to marry Holly. I can see them liking him even more if Holly is unchanged and not trying to be Lena 2.0, and liking him a lot less if he has other women and won't commit to Holly.

Lena + Holly: I don't see them accepting their daughter being a lesbian at least not at first. This is a big "Maybe" on them being accepting. I think it would need to be a version of Lena that didn't doing the onlyfans stuff, and isn't fucking a bunch of other people and even then its a long shot, but they probably won't like Lena no matter what unless she is just a friend of Holly and not romancing her.

Lena + Ian + Holly: I don't see them accepting their daughter being a part of some guys harem of women. I see them kicking Holly out of the house, and Lena + Ian + Holly having to get their own place together.

Ivy + Holly: Ivy has introduced their beloved daughter to drugs, promiscuity, glory holes, onlyfans and all levels of sin. I can see this getting physically violent possibly ending in Ivy getting murdered by them. People have been murdered for less.

Stan + Holly: Stan is completely non threatening, he makes good money, and is a bit of a nerd. I can definitely see Holly's family loving and welcoming Stan in with open arms.
This is a case of putting too much work for too little gain. Hollys parents are extensions of Holly, not their own characters who get introduced, get an arc and solution. Weaving in now a religious prude sideplot in the game would distract further from the flow.

Still, Holly reacting different towards her parents depending on her partners presence and influence should be a given, so we can expect to get multiple outcomes, but very likely off-screen and merely told, instead of being shown.

I can see that, though its still questionable on Ians side to fall from her (only his chad behaviour is consistent and naturally better written), and it still leaves out why Louise would make a move on Ian if he is with Lena. As a reminder, Louise is described as a loyal friend and she was presented to held relationships and commited partnerships in a high esteem. To fuck her dear roommates boyfriend in secret doesn't make sense. Maybe if Lena antagonised her and Louise throws a fit, but thats not in every playthrough.

I went out of my way to compare her with Ians other love interests, because truly, most of Lenas partners are garbage that make even Louise look compelling.

Regarding Cindy, its currently quite well.

You want faithfull Cindy romance without Axel? You can get it.
You want Axel to plow her? You can get it.

What could be missing is a neutral path when Cindy isn't interested in ian, but realizes she is being played by Axel and nopes out, either giving Ian a chance or even rekindling things with Wade. Or just leading a healthy life in general without being forced to either commit to Ian or be a fuckdoll for Ian or Axel.

She's female Robert.
Robert on his own is a stand alone category, but I can kind of see how Louise might get close to being his counterpart, since the developer loves to laurel her with undesirable qualities, seemingly forgetting that in her character card since the beginning was written something about her being a sweet and loyal person behind the rough exterior. But it's been rather like that Kenobi meme, "and she was a good friend."

It just doesn't make sense to march in this thread and kinkshame an already established game.

The occasional suggestion to remove either Ian or Lena from the game, effectively deleting 50% of five years work and 13 chapters, is baffling.

Got a cool bug. Emma shows up naked in the morning at the beach house. Anyone else?
Yeah, something is messed up with clothing and it's not just for Emma. Ian shows up at the office in his summer outfit while everyone is in their usual office clothes. Furthermore, he speaks to the company president wearing short pants.. Dude, it's not the way to show gratitude after getting promotion!

That might be in the cards. Depending on Cindy's relationship with Wade, when she is seen with Axel her outfit is different. On the path with no relationship with Ian and bad terms with Wade she has the white outfit and a gold necklace, paying no mind to Wade. If she ended on good terms with Wade, she has the brown and white outfit and asks about Wade. I think that route is where something might have happened, but she stopped it, similiar to the trusting Ian route. Then the former is where she went all the way with Axel.

It will also be in line with Louise's character to catch feelings for Ian after he gives her a good dicking in the threesome scene or just by seeing him hanging around because he's such a cool guy. From a writer's perspective, you can justify Louise's pursuit of Ian as a failed extreme friendship test, similar to how an irresponsible Lena can seduce Jeremy.

Ian's motivation is a bit iffy, but we can poke holes through all story paths in ORS. There are so many variables that it's barely coherent at times.

She might not have banged Axel if Wade broke up with her first and was in a good place about it. The little discussion about Wade when you bump into Cindy and Axel, she seems a bit offended and wronged about Ian implying she jumped right under Axel. Time will tell though.

Ian lives in an apartment with his buddy Perry.
Lena has 2 room mates Stan & Louise.

Both of them have already "Left the nest." They are independent adults, and Lena is even supporting her parents financially.

Is Holly the same? No...

Holly still lives at home with Mom & Dad!
Holly is literally currently grounded because her parents found her birth control pills!

"Leaving the nest" won't be so simply for Holly, or else she would have done it by now.

I understand how you can think having the characters parents be a part of the story is boring, but I think that it adds depth to the characters when done correctly and in moderation.

We have seen many days in the life of Ian.

We have seen many days in the life of Lena.

We have seen 0 days in the life of Holly. 0... Not one. At least not her normal day to day life. Yes, we get her away on vacation for a couple of days at the beach, or for the writing thing when you first sleep with her as Ian. But those are not normal day to day days for Holly. Those are "Holly on vacation" or "Holly on a work trip".

Does her mother still do the laundry for Holly? We don't know.
How did they find the birth control pills? We don't know.
Do they sit around the table for breakfast / dinner as a family still? We don't know.
Does Holly spend all her time alone in her room isolated? We don't know
What does Holly's room look like is it clean or dirty? We don't know.
How often does Holly get "Grounded"? We don't know.
How many Elephants are in Holly's room? We don't know. We know she likes them, but how much does she like them.
Holly is an honourary protagonist, not an actual one. We hear about her home life, but only as much as she's willing to tell. But the message is clear, she needs to become independent and out of her families control. The reason she hasn't left before is a lack of confidence and being able to imagine that better life. By now, on most every route, she has that now. Plus she has a full time gig and two popular novels. Holly's problem was inertia. Now it's just waiting for EK to pull the trigger on the big housing shuffle that has been building.

Does Cindy's romance/FWB route account for the sociopath Ian who tried to help Wade (wade_cindy == 2) while fucking Cindy or is it an oversight like the slutty Holly in the throuple?

You can't help Wade and go for Cindy at the same time. If you go for Cindy, the options to help Wade are blocked out.
