PilotLara Found an oversight. When Ian isn't on Cindy's path, he'll note that the last time he saw her was the photoshoot at Axel's place. Which... isn't true because Cindy came to Lena's concert the following chapter.

The book contest: That's totally going to be a final moral choice for Ian, isn't it?

Sell out or reject Seymour's machinations.
Not necessarily, since it only gets rigged if Lena is responding positively to Seymour. Regardless of her relationship, or lack thereof, with Ian, which is a bit odd.

Based on the requirements, I should be able to pick the friendly option. Is this a bug?

Did Ian meet Axel outside of the club and they had a scuffle? Or interrupted Axel during the photo session at the first opportunity? Either will block the top option.

The issue with Louise is not the character itself, but how both MCs disregard her and hardly see her more than just a fuckdoll. Lena always pushes her away because Louise got too clingy, and Ian is pretty smug about her from the get-go. Louise has a bit of the Robert treatment in how she isn't taking seriously, is usually presented in a bad light and ends up in unlucky situations.
Ian can seemingly have a turnaround regarding Louise if you pick 'loving' options during sex with her. His attitude is also colored by whether he's shown some "romantic inclinations" while texting with Louise earlier. While you could say it's pretty abrupt i won't lie, it's also rather sweet.

Like, d'aawww. Look at that cute face. None of the crazy bug eyes some other girls at this place get.

- Going by what we have with Gillian content, it seems the implication is a reconciliation run is becoming an option, depending on how we play it.
Sadly, I suspect this one is doomed to be a Bad End (or a Swedish buffet for our local cuck connoisseurs) based on how every option Ian takes in this update to distance himself from Gillian rewards him with Wits gain.

Won't stop me from pursuing it ofc. :sneaky:

Idk, but these sex positions are funny. Even shower sex/sex against a wall requires male stamina.
Shower is hard because of the water making the balance tricky and keeping the other body rigid cuz it slips a lot. Though I was impressed with Ian on Cindy's scene, that mattress was soft asf but he still managed to keep his balance in that position. Chad/Athletic Ian has started rag-dolling the girls. Look how far we have come.

Are you sure? I am pretty positive that the "Architect of Orgasm" would only publish his book if Lena slept with him.
No, the decision only hinges on whether Lena is interacting amicably with Seymour. In fact, if she hasn't fucked Seymour then he'll comment on it, with a dedicated text variant:
Python:
            if lena_seymour_sex:
                $ fseymour = "evil"
s "Oh, and sorry for keeping Lena so busy lately. She's a really fascinating woman, isn't she?"
i "What...? Oh, yeah. Absolutely... She's... someone very special."
            if lena_seymour_sex == False:
s "Stubborn and guarded like few others... She's not easily impressed."
s "My respect. You must be a man of great charisma to have won over a woman like that..."

It's the route that Cuck lovers and Axel fans hate so much aka Romance path, you must be committed to Cindy.

I'm pretty sure it's still conditional on the boundaries choice, which is counterintuitive for a porn game (I like it this way though - too often in games merely picking the most "heart-ey" or "love" themed option is sufficient to guarantee progress with that LI)

What I DIDN'T like is if you're on full romance options instead of boundaries, if you snoop the photos, there's no restrained responses, literally ek makes the choices for you on how ian reacts; options ranging from break up immediately to take some time off from relationship.
Nope, Cindy rejects Alex if she and Ian talked about committing to each other.
AFAIK this isn't true - the only relevant choices are the 'boundaries' answer, and whether ian looks at polaroids at end.
This sounds like a specific path - when I select all enthusiastic responses to her prompts Ian seems very head-over-heels with her, not at all smug or pushy. Methinks you're projecting one specific dialogue route on to all of them.
Got around to play the new update, so here is a compact first impression.

- Great stuff in it for the Alison fans, for all variants of her, be it sweet Alison, experimental Alison and slutty Alison. It is the first time Ian and her can fully commit. Not only sweet Alison, but also experimental Alison........
100%, loved this update for Alison progression. I like how she reverts to her brunette hair if you react less than enthusiastically.
Louise has an overly emotional and impulsive personality, and a rushed romance path makes sense for her. She has the idealized romantic tendencies of a teenage girl and has been ogling Ian for some time. I thought Eva Kiss nailed the scene because it works, narrative-wise, regardless of player choice. The same can't be said for many of the hookups on Lena's side of the story.
I absolutely loved the way this scene was done, furthermore the pacing felt perfect (which is RARE here, either turboslut events or dripfeeds).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Separately a thing I've noticed as worrying trend- and I guess it's always been there but getting worse the more characters paths cross and weave:

I HATE how EK makes major decisions for you in the case of stopping relationships. With almost every relationship conflict in the game, the outcome is predetermined. It's crap, why not just briefly prompt the player? Examples of this are the numerous Alison/Lena intersections, Cindy/Lena intersections, Cindy/Alison intersections. It's little to no coding work since there's only 2 outcomes which already have their respective variables and labels, just need a short menu: choice to establish who the player wants to stay with.

I see, so the variable required is to be in contract with Seymour.
Of course, it's also possible that Seymour is simply just dangling this possibility of publishing the book in front of Ian, but might demand... concessions... for it to actually become a reality, down the road.

I think they're referring to how Ian will have internal monologue about Louise not looking as hot as Lena and some other girls, and also rate her sexual prowess as somewhat lacking, compared to others he's been with. These are hardcoded remarks and can be indeed perceived as rather smug/mean, but i kind of like that they make the whole thing more grounded, in a way. It's pretty rare in porn games to explicitly "rate" character appearances and outright declare some are middling instead of super-hot.

I'm curious to see what comes of Victor, and how he plays into the morality of the story. He's clearly the anti-Seymour option to Ian's literary career. But does failing the publishing minigame actually result in anything different with him? It didn't seem to on my loser Ian run, which is the route I would have purposefully failed the publishing check, or in the case of Victor made the morally right decision about publicizing works of passion.

Similar note with Emma as well. Ian also had a chance to encourage her to speak with Seymour. We've long suspected that Emma might have a morality flip, but now that Ian can also encourage her, that seems pretty guaranteed. Dammit, Seymour is interesting again and it has nothing to do with his weird voyeurism of Lena.
