On Alison's path she already proposes getting a place together and Ian can accept if he's on the love path, say he will think about it or refusing because he wants to live alone. It has been heavily hinted for a while that Ian wants to stop being roommates with Perry and almost all of his circle have living issues.

• Alison lives with her parents and has been bitching about it since the beginning of the game.
• Emma is about to be evicted during this latest update.
• Cindy has the extra space without Wade but I guess her financial situation is about the same as when she was living with jobless Wade.
• Holly lives with her religious parents and is even grounded during the latest update when they discover she's taking birth control pills. She should have some decent savings from her book and job.
• Cherry has her own place and no problems I can remember. But I guess she could also be an alternative.
• Even Wade could end up being an alternative if Perry and Emma get together.

Exactly this. This update was the big setup for Ian to finally move out and start something with his LI of choice, excepting Lena oddly enough. I imagine that him moving out will be the B plot for the next MMA fight, since there probably won't be much story to the fight itself unless it ends up against Mike.

How many rounds are there to the tournament, have we ever been told?

Is there prize money? And I always agreed that Mike was a likely opponent, but I forget if there was any in-game evidence, or if it was all extrapolation of themes and likely character roles.

They would have fought, but Lena stopped it. I think it was the right decision at the time. It made Axel more formidable, and be wary about him. At the next encounter, I want to see a no-holds-barred street fight with that man and where Ian automatically overrides Lena's pleas and doesn't gives a flying fuck. Didn't the Ian/Axel confrontation outside of the club have two variations? In both, Axel goes to push Ian away, and iirc in one he can stumble, but the other (athletic and/or fit) Ian knocks his arm away and holds firm.

Axel being a photographer and hanging out with models all day seems like the type of guy that works out to build pretty muscles. Ian's been learning to fight. Hopefully that will counter the weight and reach differences. Especially if he can get in Axel's head. I'd love if Ian messed up his elbow/broke his arm so Axel can't hold his camera properly for months on end.

As far as I know, we have not been told. I've always assumed three rounds.

There is prize money to be won. A lot of people theorized that Mike would be some hidden "boss" of the MMA tournament; and then EK went back and added him in just before the first fight Ian participates in, which all but confirms there is going to be some form of confrontation between Ian and Mike at some point.

Non training Ian would fall down. Mike stumbles. Chad Ian(3 or more) will be more confident when talking to Axel and will be more confrontational.

As in: you can lose one, win two and you´d likely still go through to the elimination phase of the tournament. That should mean probably 5 fights total, at least. Price money also confirmed, the exact amount, I don´t remember if was mentioned. Don´t think it was huge.

As for Mike: speculation, likely driven by potential Gillian-arc (personally still don´t think it´s him) but we have no idea really, other than he´s the only named npc confirmed to be in it so far and roughly same weight class as buff Ian? Maybe there´s even going to be 2 routes, one where you fight him and one where you don´t? Edit: Forgot to mention that there´s obviously also a possible conflict with him if Lena is on his path, while with Ian. Maybe that´s where the 2 possible different outcomes kick in.

No You're good. Perry only fights with Ian if Ian gets with Emma. No need to worry in your case.

You can also be neutral towards him, I highly assume he doesn't suggest for Ian to leave then.
He is mostly pissed of if Ian fucks Emma or if Ian insults him, and likely once the Cindy drama is revealed (he can already suspect it).

Ah, a Quantum Ogre Mike (he's only the opponent if you've got a grudge match against him).

So only one fight down, and we didn't get the second round this update (unless it's been held back for .3). This might drag out.

Whether there's a fight between Perry or Ian, Ian has still been thinking about getting a new place. And between all of his prospective GFs, it's easy to get a move on most paths. It's the few 'Ian is a player/single, but also pissed off Perry' paths that may be trickier. He might just move alone, now that he has the bigger paycheque, and Wade can move in with Perry.
