Really? But as you said if your Ian was chasing after Wade then how could he kiss Cindy in the first Place after the Club?If you just kissed Cindy then her path is closed off iirc. Instead of Ian pursuing Cindy after the photoshoot, you get a chance to reconcile her and Wade, essentially a "good friend to wade" path.
I think to pursue Cindy in ch 9 you need to have fucked her in the alley, anything short of that wont cut it.
I might be wrong though since this is coming from a playthrough where my Ian chased after Wade and not Cindy, it's not the same as chasing and then kissing her.
Some dialogue changes that's it if r pursuing a relationship with herCan someone who played both Scenarios of the Cindy Route answer what changes in Chapter 9 if you just kissed Cindy in Chapter 7 or if you go all the way with her in the Alley?
Until now I just played the new Chapter with the full Cindy Route so I'm interested if it makes any significant differences if Ian and her just kissed after the Club?
Too bad Louise is mad with Lena I hope she doesn't go into Yandere modeAlso with me. Lena has Holly and that's all for her (in my personal playthrough). Ian has (until now) Alison & Cindy. Shame it's not possible for him to get Alison, Cindy and Emma. Stan will hopefully have Louise. Axel, Robert & Jeremy has their healthy hands.
Perry & Wade has themselves.
Interesting. Regarding this topic, you can actually also go after Cindy and not kiss her, if you happen to be nuts.If you just kissed Cindy then her path is closed off iirc. Thanks this definitely sounds more likely! But other than Dialogue Changes you still have the same Options as in the other Playthrough with her? Some dialogue changes that's it if r pursuing a relationship with her
yea I never actually tried "going after Cindy and just kissing her". The closest I have was "chasing after Wade", which resulted in Ian having the choice to "reconcile" Wade and Cindy in ch 9.Really? Thank you!Yes, even if you completely ignore him in previous meetings,You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
There are a lot of choices involved but kissing doesn't block off Cindy's romantic route.yea I never actually tried "going after Cindy and just kissing her". The closest I have was "chasing after Wade", which resulted in Ian having the choice to "reconcile" Wade and Cindy in ch 9.
But I do think the outcome will be very similar.
Basically I think this will happen:

Edit: Ok I just tested it and Im wrong. You can still pursue Cindy but only as fuck buddies, meaning you can convince her to cheat on Wade, but not break up with him.
Yes. But it depends on whether your Ian told Lena "I want a relationship with you" or "I'd like to keep things casual" earlier that morning. But you can pursue a relationship with her without having fucked her?
It seems the choice is largely superficial and (thus far) only affects whether you see the scene in the alley or not; except for one key aspect, namely getting caught by Ivy and Jeremy. I'm not sure what consequences that will ultimately have though.A bit of a pity if that's the case I think. Because it essentially makes the choices in the alley meaningless, since most people that wanna emphasize the path of being Wade's friend wouldn't take the Cindy route so far as to get into the alley with her in the first place. But understandable I suppose.
But you can pursue a relationship with her without having fucked her?
That's been my guess. I think the same likely goes for a number of other paths now and in the future, unless/until Eva more clearly outlines a future path tree and gets more help with development. Honestly, as disappointed as I am with the limit of some options here, I still prefer it to disjointed, immersion-breaking text inevitable from creating too many paths without enough time to reconcile the dialogue and internal thought processes for each, as we've seen even more in other recent chapters. Even if that means my preferred route details may be impossible now.I wonder if this might be because of the troubles Eva has had with all the branching choices. Maybe originally she intended for there to be variable events with Cindy depending on how far you went but during writing she chose "fuck it, let's just consolidate it along the fuck/don't fuck choice"
Agree with your here. Every new chapter makes me realise that a lot of choices in previous chapters don't actually matter in the long run, which like you said, is probably an afterthought by Eva. There seems to be a lot of streamlining in recent chapters, specifically ch 8 and 9. Ch 8 simplified the Holly Lena conundrum for Ian, this one did the same for Alison and Cindy it looks like. That's been my guess. I'd rather have a more consistent game that doesn't hit my wants than a disjointed mess that gives me every route I was hoping for, since the latter breaks the spell of the narrative and is no fun to play through IMO.
You cant get the Lena x Holly lez scene if Ian is with Holly. Lena basically respects Holly's relationship with Ian.Is Ian/Lena/Holly path still available? I can't seem to get the Lena and Holly scene in Lena's room when Ian pursued Holly.
Do you mean you can't Progress the Cindy and Alison Routes at the Same Time in the new Chapter? That's interesting because this works in my Playthrough. But on the other Hand in my Holly Playthrough right now I can't Progress the Alison Route how I want...but as I mentioned before this could be a Bug since Alison suddenly mentioned Jeremy and Threesomes out of nowhere in this Playthrough.Agree with your here. Just a guess but if Eva's going to add new scene in beta or Final, there's a high chance it'll probably be LenaxJeremy considering their impending talk after Louise questioning.Yea I've thought about this too. I think based on past releases it was almost always a scene with Jeremy (with Alison for instance) that was added to the Beta/Final versions.
Ch 9 is different in that it already has a Jeremy x Alison scene in the alpha version. Maybe there won't be one for the first time.
My guess is as good as yours. It could be some additional sexting scenes, or Jeremy showing Ian another video of him boning Emma.
My bad that's not what I meant. I just meant making previous decisions insignificant in the long run. As it is you can pursue Cindy and Alison at the same time, for now at least.Do you mean you can't Progress the Cindy and Alison Routes at the Same Time in the new Chapter?
