The difference between Perry and Holly. Holly is a modest, good and well-mannered intelligent girl. She is not corrupted by the evil influence of the elitist. Holly does not cause conflict, is not greedy, does not condemn friends behind their backs, is not a blabber-mouth. She's cute. Reminds me of basic Ashley. If you're a shy introvert, then Holly is a better option than Perry.
Regarding Perry's social skills, even my aquarium fishes are more social.
What I'm reading from this is shy girls are cute and need a hug, and shy guys are losers and should be shamed for it. Holly is modest and well-mannered because she was forced to be this way by her church-going parents. She is quiet most of the time because she believes she's going to say something stupid. The thing is, it fucked up her self-esteem, and she HATES this version of herself. She's quite eager to change when Ivy offers to become her mentor. Most of her issues are caused by the fear of judgment. So in the judgment-free environment with Lena and Ivy, it becomes easy for her to let go.

Perry's personality on the other hand is a mix of Emma (social but opinionated and impulsive) and Ivy (blabber-mouth, can't read the room). He is insecure because of his speech impairment and the fear of rejection. In order to change he has to put a lot of effort. And that effort is very hard for him because he doesn't believe the payoff will be worth it, because something will definitely go wrong and the world will once again tell him that he's a failure, so why even try... It's doable for him if Ian acts like a good friend and shows his genuine encouragement to him. If he doesn't, and only makes fun of him at every opportunity, yeah, no wonder why he doesn't change. He needs positive reinforcement. If you can't empathize with it, well, I'm happy you had it easier than people who have to fight various fears, insecurities and impostor syndrome on top of having to live up to some expectation of their idea of success that is different from person to person.

Well, no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to like Perry. This guy is just annoying at every turn and every dialogue. But I will get over myself and someday try the way where Ian helps Perry with self-esteem and socialization. I'm just wondering how it ends.
I'm fine with shy guys, I used to be that way myself. There is no need to shame all shy guys, this dislike is exclusively extended to Perry and his behavior.

My previous big post with the anti-rating of characters caused a controversial reaction. I decided to keep sketching on the fan and make a list of characters that I like.

10. Ven. Jiu-Jitsu trainer in the gym. If you get into a fight, then his lessons will come in handy. Ven gives the impression of an experienced and wise teacher. It reminds me of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Young Padawan Ian will not disappear under the guidance of such a teacher and will kick Axl's ass.

9 Billy. He is Jeremy's friend. So far there is not much to say about this guy, except that he is friendly and open. And apparently the same womanizer. As is Jeremy. Given Lena's troubles in the modeling business because of Seymour, Billy and his new project look like a lifeline for Lena. Or as potential for a threesome. We'll see. One question: Eva, WHY CHANGE THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN? Nothing has changed from this, except for maybe a shit storm on Twitter. WHITED.

8. Ed and Molly. A very nice elderly couple from the cafe, these are the people you want to see as your bosses at work. Yes, you won’t make much money with them, but the environment will be friendly and non-toxic. These are people with whom it is easy to establish contact and communicate. And let my Lena be a bad girl, but she never stole money from them from the general cash register. For such people there is a separate cauldron in hell. I like to take part in the development of the cafe and I hope it will be possible to save it from closing. Ed is certainly a bit of a pervert, but he is harmless and rather nostalgic for his youth when he sees a young beautiful girl.

7. Cherry. The reason for the drama and separation of Axel and Lena. Lena should thank her for helping get rid of this maniac. Unlike the tense careerist Alison, Cherry is much easier. Just sex without commitment and a little heart-to-heart communication.

6. Jeremy. Who said BBС? I already wrote about him that I think he is a cool dude and bro. Well, only if your Ian is not a soy snowflake. Jeremy, being a nerd as a child, decided to recoup to the fullest. He's a womanizer, a player, and the life of the party. You better not yawn or he'll roll up on the chick you like.

5. Mike. This guy is a real alpha. Outwardly well-built, attractive and devoid of complexes. If Lena is on the path of a bad girl, he is a good option. Not trying to control, not a psychopath. Everything is easy to take. Mike is very confident. He won't chase after Lena like Robert or terrorize her like Axel if she doesn't want to continue her relationship with him. If it happened, it should be so - I think this is Mike's philosophy. It is very interesting to know who his girlfriend is. Maybe Gillian?

4. Ivy:devilish:. Hot girl from the club. Hell, for this girl there are no restrictions, she does not care about the condemnation of society and what they think of her. In Our Red String, Evie is in the role of Jessica from GGGB - urges Lena to become more depraved. But this character, unlike Jessica, is not a marginal drug addict and garbage whore who will suck dick for a dose in the alley. Ivy knows her worth and respects herself. She is a successful model and go-go dancer in a club. Ivy doesn't mind free sex, but she doesn't like it when Jeremy makes a fool out of her. Evie is easy and fun to hang out with, she's the kind of friend you find adventurous on your ass with. She lacks arrogance - Holly is out of her league and she plays a little joke on her. But then he accepts into the company and helps to get out of the shell of shyness.

3. Holly. Sweet and shy girl. Who grew up under the influence of conservative religious parents. I understand Holly is here as basic Ashley. She is very educated, intelligent, non-confrontational and terribly shy. What you want to see Holly is up to you - a good girl in a relationship with a good Ian, but more open and courageous. Or the potential path of corruption as a result of befriending Ivy.
She also looks cool and beautiful without those stupid glasses:
Снимок.JPG

2. Cindy. The Forbidden fruit. I know that according to the results of polls on Eva's Patreon, she is the most popular girl. Cindy is stubborn, demanding, knows her own worth and wants more from life, she believes that she deserves the best. She considers herself still very young and does not want to live her life in vain. Cindy is a social extrovert, very energetic and loves to be the center of attention. You can say that she has the character of a queen and ... the guy must match her and be in her league. Therefore, only the second place. It can't be easy with Cindy - being her boyfriend is hard work, she loves it when everything is her way. I guess she's a Leo by her zodiac sign. Therefore, her relationship falls apart - she meets a guy who goes to the bottom and Cindy is no longer comfortable with him. And I really think that Cindy deserves better - she strives for it, while her boyfriend prefers to masturbate to online games and watch football on TV.

Снимок1.JPG

1. Emma. Surprise, didn't you expect? I love everything about this girl. She is open, outgoing and friendly. There is nothing elitist, arrogant in it, not a single moment of condemning people for anything. Emma always easily finds friends and behaves as relaxed as possible. Emma is the most tolerant. She is not indifferent to the problems of people and the city in which she lives, she is aware of the political situation - Emma is a social activist. But she doesn't look like one of those Twitter activists. She cares about real issues. That moment when she ruined Seymour Ward's expensive suit and kicked him out of the cafe - I realized: "Thats my girl." It was so bad ass and cool! And it turned out to be a huge surprise what this girl is an easy in sex. I never thought she was such a nymphomaniac. I am absolutely certain that Ian and Jeremy are not her only current partners - Emma has no brakes. I think the path of the Eskimo brothers promises to be very interesting for the most depraved scenes in the future. I'm sorry Perry, but you're not getting a piece of Emma.

So this seems to be all ... If you have the strength to read this scribble to the end, keep another cute character from the game. DLC, so to speak:

Not to be afraid of a little controversy, we all get reactions to things we think. Here, let me respond in kind and you can get to be aghast at mine! :D
Have to admit that I don't quite see Wen as all that interesting yet. Sure, he teaches an art to Ian, but I think he could be more interesting if he became more involved in his private life too. Ian could use more "independent" friends anyway.
WHITED.
Billy is so new that his skin colour is of relatively little concern to me. I still don't find his offer enticing yet, need to know more specifics and see what kind of person he really is.
I hope the cafe can end up in certain ways depending on what event you choose to take place there. I wouldn't expect wildly different outcomes or anything, but it'd be kinda fun if you could draw different crowds depening on Lena's choice.
7. Cherry. The reason for the drama and separation of Axel and Lena. Lena should thank her for helping get rid of this maniac. Unlike the tense careerist Alison, Cherry is much easier. Just sex without commitment and a little heart-to-heart communication.
So she's the cause of the biggest dramatic background in the game but also nicely undramatic? :D
I supsect more is to come from Cherry. Have to admit that I'm slightly more intrigued about how she'll play out with Lena than Ian, but it's a nice touch regardless.
I think very lowly of Jeremy. His ideals crack under tension and he has no game, he only gets some when the women throw themselves at him. Louise and Alison if Ian and Lena don't influence it otherwise and Lena only if you choose to. I don't find him that convincing as a player or a bro. If he actually pulled through with his professed ideals when tested I'd find him a much more interesting option and friend. Physically he is fine, hit even, but his behaviour taints him to me.
Mike still cheats on his girlfriend. Besides his physique I haven't had a lot of interest in him. Being Gillian's boyfriend would certainly make him a more interesting in terms of the story I suppose, but he feels like such a side-character at this point already that I am unsure Eva could do much to really make him interesting.
4. Ivy.
On the contrary I think Ivy cares a lot about the condemnation of society, the whole point of her character is to prove that her lifestyle is a legit one and one that shouldn't mean that she's less of a person. I'm not sure she truly does respect herself, at least not fully yet. Maybe she does, but I get the sense that her whole schtick, why she professes her ideals and impresses them upon Lena and Holly so, is that them emulating her would be a legitimising event. I at least hope that we will get to see some kind of consequence or hesitation from her at some point, it'd be fun for Ian or Lena to approve and reaffirm her commitment to the way she lives.
I wonder if she might change her dedication somewhat if Lena doesn't begin to embody them.
I like Holly with glasses, I'd just love to get to help her pick out a less cumbersome pair :D
Another thing about Holly is that she isn't just sweet and shy, well, she is those things of course but I like that she also has some hidden desires she'd like to explore and an open mind sexually, it's nice that she's not just a completely innocent blank slate.
Without judging if they deserve "better" I'll at least say that I think Wade and Cindy will just be happier apart and with other people. No idea who that'd be for Wade, someone who shares his interests or at least his preferred lifestyle probably, I don't necessarily see Cindy as completely high-maintenance, I think she could be very happy with someone who's just adventerous and fun. She's stuck in a static situation and wants some dynamism in her life.
1. Emma. Surprise, didn't you expect? I love everything about this girl. She is open, outgoing and friendly. There is nothing elitist, arrogant in it, not a single moment of condemning people for anything. Emma always easily finds friends and behaves as relaxed as possible. Emma is the most tolerant. I like Emma. I just hope for a route with her for Lena too. I think it could be a fun way to really mix and match Ian and Lena's stories if they can both get with her in one way or another.

Exactly, that's why my headcanon Ian is always here for his buddies Perry and Wade. He grew up with these people and he knows them like no one else, which means it's up to him to help them and get their drive back.

Seems that everyone is forgetting the whole premise of this game:
A womanizer god gift to women bar tender coming on to every girl in sight is teaching Ian,
our MC, the ropes to getting somebody, by sabotaging every night out and sending him pictures of the women he gets out of the nights out while Ian has to what? Salivate? Get angry? Become american psycho?

Then He goes after the same girl he goads Ian to go after,
because womanizing bar tenders always get the girl.

The story of the girl MC is even more outrageus: she is being swamped with creeps and stalkers and all around haters coming on to her, while this game proposes Ivy makes her a nude model so even more creeps will come harder and deadlier right to her face to whore her out. What a mess this is.

Dunno how popular of an opinion this is but I'm really hoping we get a Ian/Ivy scene by the end of the whole game. It seems a lot of people saw Cindy as the forbidden fruit but I see the situation of Ian and Ivy in a very similar light on accord of Lena being involved in the whole thing of course. Following that what I'd really love seeing is a Ian/Lena/Holly threesome or Ian/Lena/Ivy. But again, that just might be me.

I think Ivy will come into fray in the "IanXLena Couple Route" where she will attempt to steal Ian from Lena just because he is her boyfriend now. She is already in cahoots with Axel and they no doubt fucked, so I can see Ivy trying to steal Lena's boyfriends from her as some kind of fetish of hers. Maybe to prove herself "better" than Lena. Or maybe to break them apart so that Axel can get Lena again.
