He should delete/edit the scene as that's very uncool, but I doubt his game is really going anywhere enough to warrant much concern beyond that.
I think they meant the cameo feature. There is a $150 tier where the benefit is to make it into the game as a minor character / cameo. The Art Gallery guy and the Record Store manager are the examples of these cameos, their sprites were drawn based on the photos sent by patrons.
