A and B looks great.
C - pink is too stereotypical and I don't like it.
D and E looks a little bit cringe.

Now that chapter 10 is approaching its finish line (somewhere in the distance, a month or two out there), I had a quick look through the Patreon posts and tried to gather all the information we have about it.

• The chapter will consist of just one point of view switch, with Ian's part first before Lena's
• Someone will play pool with Emma
• The amount of drawings looks to be about 120 (May 27th: "Right now I've completed around 70 drawings, and I have the feeling that's only half of the final count." September 13th: "the final count will be around 120 I think.")
• There will be a scene where Ian goes to his office, either at the magazine or at Hierofant, where he can interact with several characters, including Minerva
• Estimated 12 sex scenes (June 11th)
• Someone will high five (and everything points to it being Ian and Jeremy with Alison on all fours somewhere between them)
• Holly will appear in her underwear
• The length is estimated to be 30000 lines of code, making it about 35 percent longer than the longest one yet (chapter 7)
• Ian's part is about the length of chapter 5, which was 11500 lines of code before the remaster, so Lena's part might me longer than Ian's
• Illustrations show that Ian and Lena will have a sex scene in this chapter (as always), also that Ian will take some steamy pictures of Lena on the bed (and one additional picture show Lena on the bed without any proof whether it's still Ian taking the pictures)
• "A few" new characters will be making an appearance, including one (or "some") we "might be familiar with", with Gillian, Nat and Iris being the most common guesses
• Lena will have a redesign of her lust and athletics outift, and from the sound of it also one additional new outfit

This game is not dead, but it's better not to build illusions about the amount of content before the release of the update, so as not to be disappointed later.
Personally, i think that the content in the next update will not be as much as it says EK.

The new outfits are even more revealing. I know that it's summer in ORS, but still ... I am sure Lena won't die from the extreme heat of the ORS universe with something like this:

The main theme of these changes is to make lust clothing more open so that they show more skin. I think so. More lust - more slutty clothes. That is, corruption path is shown, I have no other ideas.

sex scene and it's pretty flat

The Ian-Lena sex-scenes are boring so far though, at least compared to most other sex scenarios in the game. It's the default vanilla(ish) relationship the game is built around and the kinkiest you'll get so far with them is anal or a little exhibitionism. I think what's shown up to this point for them is more by-design as the "straight(ish)" path and I wouldn't consider any of their current sex scenes to be the be-all-end-all, gauntlet-throwing, season ending climax. That one just happened to come at the end of Chapter 9.

That may and probably will change as more depraved paths open further. But that main vanilla(ish) option will always be there. I don't think the game will get nearly as fucked-up-kinky as GGGB, but expect the depravity to pick up x3 in the last third of the chapters.

And with this yet more unnecessary redesign, that pushes me to the edge of questioning what has been going on and thinking the most likely is stalling from the dev's part, dare I say milking.
If the die-hards are enough to make it worth it, well done her. But I bet the exodus will continue.

I think you read me wrong here. I totally understand Eva's reason for building Ian/Lena up in this way and wasn't complaining. I was just responding to another poster that the Ian/Lena sex scenes so far were not the best example to use on how hot or not the sex scenes in the game have generally been up to this point, as their scenes are by far the most vanilla right now of almost all sex options (though likely building to future paths of depravity).

No. She's not close. She's decent for a porn game writer... well, given the low bar, she's very good for a porn game writer. But that's it.

What you're not getting is the path branching. Edgar Alan Poe didn't need to give the option to: Quote the raven; cook the raven; bat eyes at the raven; try to date the raven and see where it takes you. Turns out the raven's got a couple of friends and you started cheating with the sparrow. Or you can choose to date the raven exclusively and take one of several paths for kinky raven content. But it turns out you can control the raven too and she's got a nest of eggs at home to take care of. Sometimes the magpie stops by and the raven can be mean, nice or sexy to it. But that completely changes the story because the magpie is friends with your goose and your goose took a gander of that hot bird orgy involving seven different pelicans and five optional mating dances, all with their own unique outcomes. But that's just the beginning of the first 6 pages, with so many branching pathways that Edgar Alan Poe says "fuck it" and goes on vacation for a few weeks before the poets at the Absinthe bar start grumbling "no good, lazy, milking gothic horror writer. The writing is shit now, too. WTF with all the bird sex?"

It's not the most amazing writing, but the complexity involved in branching paths and the problems that could entail in cohesive narrative are incomparable to most other lone-writer vns & definitely much more complex than any choose-your-own-adventure novel out there.

I gotta say, well fucking done.
