I tried to direct volunteers to help Eva with writing at least character bios, can you guess what happened to them? They lost interest or became inactive or personal life happened to them. And if they bailed at the simplest short-term tasks, how would one find help for more substantial long-term tasks?

And the problem isn't even with finding people eager to help, the problem is with keeping them around. I think Eva is well aware that she needs help and is actually low-key asking for it, but one needs to be careful about selecting the talents who'd stick around and not just leave mid-development. Just look at what happened with Lust Campus, all because the artist didn't feel like drawing porn anymore, dooming the project single-handedly. I remember when there was initial hype around that game, being a spiritual successor to GGGB, but now hardly anyone cares about it.

Lena is not your character. These "maybes" have nothing to do with who Lena is as a person, at the very start of the game. I somehow doubt that you could rewrite your personality into something you're not. Your personality is consistent. Same thing with ORS characters. Lena finds connection with Ian, Holly, Emma, and Ivy. This is her people, because Eva decided so. And that means that whatever happens between them will depend not on Lena's random whims but on series of events that shape their relationship. Lena can mess with others because they're simply not as important to her. She has reasons to hate Stan by trusting Louise, she has reasons to dismiss and treat Louise badly because she's stupid and clingy, she can make Mike cheat on his girlfriend because for her that girlfriend is a nobody. There are objective reasons for Lena to act within her character. She can steal money from Ed and Molly because she can be desperate about money thinking it's no harm if they're about to close anyway. This kind of internal logic guides EVERY decision in this game. NOTHING suggests that Lena likes to be a cheating slut, in fact she DISLIKES cheaters based on her past experience. For something to apply to Ian / Lena, there has to be an established pattern of similar behavior or some form of predisposition towards it.

If she didn't care about others' feelings, she wouldn't hate Ian for sleeping with Holly, which happens by default if Ian ends up kissing her. Holly and Ivy are two people in Lena's life that she trusts and protects. Just because you want to play Lena like a psychopath doesn't mean that she IS a psychopath.

At times, it almost feels like the writer wants the player to know that they've made the 'wrong' choice, which I find very odd for a porn game.

Considering I have met few such hypocrites before who still hold on to hypocrisy but have 0 self awareness to know they are being hypocritical. I think that is pretty realistic even if it feels inconsistent lol.

Complaining about the slow developement overall is agreeable.
Complaining that chapter 10 wasn't released during the weekend is not, since it was stated that it will be done between the weekend and the first december. The weekend was merly the earliest possible time, nothing guaranted.

Unless chapter 10 isn't released until 1st december 11:59 pm, complaining that Eva made a false promise is faulty.


So no broken promise for the next ~80 hours. But if there is nothing on 00:00 am on the 2nd december, then every complaint these days becomes magically valid.

Maybe that's a result of the creative divide between what the two protagonists each represent to Eva Kiss:

Ian's half has more consistent development and balancing for Ian and his love interests in their respective routes, the focus on writing and meta aspects might also be indicative of Eva's desire to evolve and move forward as a creator.

Lena represents more of a holdover from GGGB: less consistent and less realistic characters and development to keep in line with the "GGGB 2.0" model that will be more appealing to old fans and keep patrons onboard with the typical porn-before-plot and corruption routes.

It feels like Ian's cheating scenarios are more thought out. On Lena's path, you have her getting raw dogged by Mike - a total stranger to her and Jeremy - another stranger with whom she develops her initial interest mainly because of the size of his dick. So he's more of a fetish device so far.

It's a shame Eva Kiss put Ed & Molly on the back burner because Ed could've been a believable option for a well-developed cheating scenario for Lena early on.

Hypocritical yes, not necessarily out of character. Everyone has dark thought or impulses, the ones we usually suppress to appear nice and avoid judgment. She might not be overly empathetic towards strangers, only the people she cares about. So Mike's girlfriend in her mind might not even exist and he just plays hard to get. Lena can be very selfish and biased. Even when she seemingly cares about others' well-being, her worry for them is based on selfish reasons. She attacked Ian for kissing Holly not because Holly was in pain but because she stopped talking to her.

So with that in mind I think it makes sense that she feels very strongly about Cherry and Axel, because they hurt her. Likewise she can snitch on Jeremy to Louise to protect her from heartbreak and be overly protective of Holly (unless Ivy is involved). But she doesn't have a reason to hate Gillian for example because she doesn't know her, and likewise might not feel guilty about stealing Mike from his girlfriend, since to her she's of no consequence, and it's not like she's responsible for Mike being a cheater. I think her main hatred towards Cherry has to do not even for being involved with Axel, but for having a threesome without being aware of their affair. It was a very humiliating experience, and she believes Cherry wanted to humiliate her by playing this twisted game, instead of confessing and warning Lena that Axel shouldn't be trusted.

Personally, I think Lena's affair with Jeremy is much more evil and hypocritical in relation to Louise than her hookup with Mike. Unlike with Mike's girlfriend, she knows how hurt Louise would be if she realized what Lena was doing. That contrasts with her earlier concerns about Jeremy's behavior. Which once again proves my theory that Lena is very selfish, willing to set her morals aside if she ends up benefiting from someone else's misbehavior. No harm done if the victim doesn't know anything, right?... She seems to like to be the seductress, that's why Seymour's words end up working so well on her.
