I hate this part of the game. Just click along between rollback and or ignore and read the hints that the text shows. It'll eventually say in those hints everything you need to press. Someone else might have the complete list of instructions for that part as I don't remember them all, but it's pretty easy if you read the hints.

Huh, was Marcel not the bouncer in all of the game's releases? I feel like he has been around as a character since forever...was there a different sprite for him before or just a different description for him without any art assets?

Yeah, Marcel has always been the bouncer. I don't have the old version to compare, but he's definitely has a dark skin tone in the current version.
