Sorry, just getting into the game - Are any stats worth concentrating on rather than others, or is it best to spread them around?

There are only few high stat checks, most of it can be obtained through a evenly spread out playstyle.
Some stat levels won't even count if the respective level is too high, which is another incentive to not focus on one stat.
Charisma and Wits are important for all social events and convincing others, lust is mostly the debauched stat but also the willingness to cheat in some situations (usually you have a high lust stat if you go chad/slut). Athletics is kind of neglectable, though its occasionally used for a better sex performance and if you want to impress Ivy, you better train regulary.

Yes, Ian can come across their scene, but when he wonders if Lena and Holly is done with their shower in my save I didn't get a nice little scene of them still being inside and Ian being able to creep on their love-making.

OK this is a save from start of discussion with Lena regarding her cheating. You can break things up from here or choose open relationship. To enable the option to forgive you'll need to flip the gillian_stop switch.

It has Perry/Emma activated as a bonus, too.

The game caps stat growth in a chapter by chapter basis, if you reach the max then the game stops giving exp for that specific stat and it goes to waste, so it is generally better to spread them around.

If you want to be very anal about minmaxing stats you need to be familiar with which dialogue choices lead into more stat growth opportunities, but you need to play with a guide on hand for that. But short of that, here are some general hints:

-Athletics is the stat with the fewest opportunities to increase it, so consider giving it priority over the other stats when having to choose between them if you don't want it to be a dump stat.

-Lust can either be a moderately scarce stat or an abundant one, it mostly depends on how much sleeping around you are doing in your playthrough

-Willpower is a resource that can be spent in some situations to get big bonuses, or to reverse the direction of some of your previous choices. Some routes get more willpower that you can spend liberally while others you need to save them for their most impactful options. You cannot stock more than 2 willpower points at a time.

Jokes aside, that means we can do Perry more likeable for Emma, and he's not being whiny and moody cunt 24/7 like he is in all my runs. Don't know how it works, in one of my runs he became more "cool" and danced with Cherry, but in beach house being typical Perry again.

One thing I don't like about EvaKiss' art (or rather, the rotoscoping she does over actual porn stars) are the necklaces. They just look "off" or Uncanny Valley.

I really can't describe it much, but Alison's necklace with her gold dress, or Cherry's multiple necklaces at her art gallery showing, or Ivy's "V" necklace at her birthday bash all just look weird to me for some reason, which I really can't describe.
