I know EK is going for quicker/smaller updates but this one feels really small. Hopefully there is much more in the full release
I mean this is also a small update, because it would be untenable to have a huge focus on Seymour when he is isolating Lena from all other potential interactions with the cast. There are multiple facets to why this particular update is short, and we honestly got a pretty reasonable development on multiple fronts of Lena's character here. Her thoughts on the throuple, possibly opening a gold digging route, actual sex with Seymour, an upgrade to her necklace, keeping the Emma / Seymour rivalry fresh in our minds, learning that if Lena stick with Seymour that her dream vacation is still on the table.

Chapter 13 status report (5)
During the past week I've focused on drawing, completing almost all the illustrations for the next update, which will feature Lena's POV, and I also finished a scene that will appear in the next update, featuring Ian's POV. I did this so I could send the artwork to the colorists (I've been trying out a new recruit) while I focus on the writing during the upcoming weeks. I'm writing this post from Japan, since I'll be visiting a relative during Right now I'm visiting a relative in Japan for a couple of weeks, and although I won’t be able to dedicate all my time to work, I hope to make progress and complete the next chapter by December.
So far I can't share much with you guys without spoiling things, but I hope the upcoming scenes will satisfy and maybe surprise you. Regarding the Seymour update, I will go over it in detail when I get back from the trip, polishing any inconsistencies that might still be present in the Beta, and release the Full version.

Genuine question. What is it at this point that is difficult to understand with how EK does the updates? It's the version number, which is the chapter number followed by which update in the chapter it is, then followed by what version of that particular update that is.
So 13.1 Beta, means it's an update for Chapter 13, the "x.1" being the first part of the chapter, and beta meaning that it's had a pass through her patrons (and us) and is now on it's second iteration. It's literally how EK has operated since I've started following this game back in chapter 4. So perhaps I'm just used to it, but it's been fairly intuitive for me.
Chapter number > installment of said chapter > version of that installment.
Likely the furthest in the convention you'll ever see is "X.4 Final" which is the final version of the epilogue of that particular chapter. In fairness EK sometimes just calls it epilogue instead of "X.4" but they mean the same thing in this case.
Is there a better way EK could implement the update naming scheme? Probably. Is it hard to understand? Not for me anyways.

Cause it was in Chapter 13 status report, not chapter 13.1 status report. Not that I think she is wrong for titling it chapter 13 cause it is part of Chapter 13, but I also am not wrong in asking for clearance. What's wrong is that being a bitch about it when you could've been just nicer. Literally basic communication skill, someone ask for clearance, you clarify, not that difficult.
