As a female, it's hard to find porn games that suit your taste, so I have a soft spot for Eva Kiss's game. But her patreon is getting weider to place Stan in the top 3. Axel and Jeremy, I understand they are assholes and charming, and the sex is good, but Stan is a loser. I'm going to be blunt; his appearance is ugly, and his personality is not helping his case. At least if you don't have an attractive face, your personality is good, but with Stan, there's nothing good in him. And I try to tolerate him, but the last straw is his response to Lena's rejection, which is disgusting. Sorry if my words offended anyone; that's not my intention; I'm just stating my opinion about Stan's character.

Most players like Stan because they are Stan, it's that simple.

We are different from Eva's patreon here, most of the audience just clowning him or hate.
In general, it is a lack of decent male characters for Lena, everyone have a red flag, except for Ian, who's personality is determined by the player

That's because Stan had a major overhaul in what his character is and his overall appearance changed to reflect that. Originally Stan seemed to be intended to be to Lena what Holly was meant to be for Ian. He was likely to have the big glow up due to Lena's influences, but EK's patrons complained that he wasn't incel enough to the point where EK went back and overhauled his character to be even uglier with a worse personality.
I think her patreons want to see stan getting harrassed like a loser:devilish::devilish:

Maybe they get off of getting bullied:unsure:

Like the campus queen bullys me today again fuck yeah.... kinda of typ like freaky patreons

Damn. So Eva actually tried to make him better but the patrons didn't like him instead? What gives? Are they the same as Stan in character?

Sometimes it's the fans the reason we can't have nice things I guess

Most patrons liked Stan, but Eva Kiss wasn't happy with the character.

Eva Kiss said:
As I wrote in previous posts, I wasn't happy with his character on how he fit in the overall story. When I came up with the idea of Lena having a nerdy flatmate, the main appeal to me was using a character trope I hadn't explored in GGGB, which was full of hunks and malevolent guys. I thought it would be refreshing writing scenes with a different type of character, a nerd who would be more insecure and awkward, but equally horny, and how the female MC could interact with him.

The bad thing about having the develop the game chapter by chapter, and being in a hurry to launch my new project after ending GGGB, is that there's not much time for planning, or to revise and re-write stuff. Speed is key, and there were so many important and interesting characters to develop, both from Ian's and Lena's perspectives, so there wasn't much time for Stan to be in the limelight. And at one point I just realized I wasn't really sure what to do with him. The main problem, to me, was that Stan felt merely like a trope or a caricature, not a nuanced character, especially compared to the rest of the cast, and thus his interactions with Lena felt forced and uninteresting to me.

Surprisingly, many of you seemed to like Stan (I guess his character trope is actually appealing, that's why I added him to the cast in the first place). And there was this other criticism that had been weighing on me from early on, where some of you complained about the lack of "decent" or "good guy" love interests for Lena outside of Ian. At some point I thought about adding another male NPC to fill in that role, a new co-worker at the restaurant or maybe a musician guy, but the cast is already too big, so I scraped the idea. But I kept thinking about it, and the solution became apparent: Stan, underused as he was, could fill that role perfectly. But he couldn't do it in his current state.
