no, besides a physical Chad he is an emotional Incel
so only way he can connect and establish a relationship is if becomes dominant in all forms.
he is too insecure to trust his heart to a woman.
especially a woman like my Lena that is a cheater and likes sex too much to put limits on herself!
not that it matters, he has suffered in the past
and thus is not willing to risk being cucked, thus he is available for sex but never for love!
he also doesn´t love Lena, he is just pissed cause Lena left him
and he clearly has abandonment issues, so it leads/turns into obsession not love!
even the Seymor intrusion means his self preservation instinct kicked in,
since he knows he might turn violent against any man Lena is close to,
so as to preserve his future plans he sets himself aside so as not to loose control!
You summed up the character quite well.(y)
Axel used to be me one or 2 decades ago
a perfect sculpted ideal of what women should want
but an injured soul that is slowly rotting away
i can see it on his emotional instability
and willingness to resort to violence by the mere mention of her!
he will eventually grow out of it,
but Lena will be 38 years old on the best of times and situations
since only time can mend a broken heart!

I haven't played this game in a while, wondering if Louise, the least popular female character, has gotten any new sex scenes? (The last update I know of was her sending jealous texts for no apparent reason lmao)

I would like to think upcoming update will be nice time for Louise fans to play since there was buildup to her route with Ian and of course already some stuff established with Lena. Here are the Louise scenes so far:

Louise x Jeremy
Louise x Lena
Louise x Lena x Jeremy
Louise x Lena x Ian/Mike
Louise sexting Ian
Louise x Stan hatefucking (tbd... no i'm kidding.... or am i?)

whenever I visit this thread it feels less of a porn game one and more of a philosophical meetings about emotions, love, heartbreak, cheating, experiences
Imagine people talk about the game.

ORS IS less of a porn game.

I mean, this is basically what we're told about Jeremy; he used to be a nerdy guy like the rest of Ian's scooby gang and now he's trying to chase after every skirt.
But with no cucking drama involved, more like just reaching puberty and maybe watching some Andrew Tate video or something like that. Perry would be the opposite case going from cheating on his gf with a groupie to simping Emma and not having any sex at all being a nice guy.

Hi everyone! Posting for the first time here 'cause I recently started playing Our Red String spontaneously after I dabbled with the visual novel genre in my gaming career from time to time – I didn't try dozens of them but played through some great classics including Katawa Shoujo, Yin-Yang! X-Change Alternative and of course GGGB quite many years ago.

One thing I do wanna point out as a positive aspect about ORS is how characters are built more comprehensively and, in my opinion, a lot more realistic and down-to-earth compared to GGGB. This improved the gaming experience and fun (read: nastiness-induced joy) a lot for me since the creators playing with certain stereotypes, shaking them up and questioning them a bit makes the whole game feel more light and interesting at the same time. Take Wade, who's written an attractive guy, and identified as such by other characters, but has grown quite complacent with this sedentary lifestyle and seems very resistant to change, no matter how hard the MC tries. Or Robert, who appears fit and handsome, and isn't an evil manipulator, but makes for a quite convincing bland, good-as-a-fucktoy kind of guy. I was quite impressed by the writing in how Robert was asked by Lena about his passions during a date and he sort of explains he's rather indifferent about his job and enjoys partying with his mates, going on beach vacations and doing more partying and jet skiing at those beach locations. It just seems so convincing because you will encounter these kind of people in your own life – not evil, not super-Chadly but also not super nerdy and "Beta", and also not super interesting – just content with their routines. I also do love the characters of Emma and Allison so far, kinda torn between both of them as Ian. Props for that, Eva Kiss!

I would like to hear from you guys what you think about Ivy as character, especially in relation to the story ark with Holly as girlfriend/member of the girlfriend group with Ivy and Lena. In my playthrough with Lena, I sort of steered Holly into be more outgoing, dressing more "confidently" and working out more, without her becoming too corrupted. Of course we gotta keep in mind we're playing an adult game with a lot of porn content here, in which Ivy is written as sex-positive, highly driven and shameless OnlyFans model – and yet, I couldn't help but feel irked how her attitude towards sex and life is constantly being reinforced by Ivy and the game's plot, and the MC seems to have limited options to question this. It seems Ivy – much like Jessica in GGB – is convinced that all men in this world want and value in women is their bodies and sex. And yet, her idea of "living life to the fullest" seems to be having casual sex with lots of guys (nowhere in the associated dialogues does the subject if the girl in question even wants to have sex with guys appear), becoming "hot" by mainstream heterosexual standards and making money by selling said hotness to men. Holly in contrast is described by Ivy as having a "miserable existence" or something similar, and the way to make her confident includes her losing weight (which is kinda problematic seeing as she's already very slim to begin with), make herself hot to men and having sex with hot guys to become "more confident".

I like nasty story-driven VN sex as much as probably any of you, but these things still continue to irk me a bit. Somebody could teach Holly that in the 21st century, one can be a nerdy book-geek woman, make money without sex work and can still explore your sexuality.

Curious to hear what you think!

The pro Holly posts are actually bad for my mental health:cry:
Really? Interesting :giggle:
Holly is best girl, will marry Lena and have many babies together. Also Norway is rightful Danish clay.
If it happens, it will be the best thing that happens to Norway in a long time. They could hire Alison as a babysitter because she seems to like children.:unsure:

If Lena and Ian start a relationship, can you have them cheat on each other, and what are the consequences, if any?

Ivy and Holly are just on both opposite sides of the spectrum. Ivy is entirely fallen to cynicsm, you get sexual liberation and success by maxing out your potential, every other man and woman is as selfish and sexdriven as you are (if not they are just fooling themselves) vs Hollys idealistic naive imagination of romance, you will end up with your true love through sheer will and fate by being yourself.

There were a few hints that Ivy is very sensible about being slut-shamed:
Her first big crush left his girlfriend for her and spurned girlfriend tricked her into babyplay and humiliated her by releasing those kink videos to the public. So Ivy learned 1. she is hotter and has to compete with jealous colleagues over men, 2. that men value hotness to an extent to sacrifice principles for it and it must be explored, and 3. that emotional intimacy will be used against you, so you have to toughen yourself up and avoid it.
Very easily shown in why she despises Louise and why she hesitates fucking Jeremy.

So she doubles down on slut-shaming and avoids emotional intimacy, making her ironically as frail and immature as Louise at times, she just hides it well better and benefits from being in the writers grace. Because just like GGGB Jessica, Ivy is a projection of what EvaKiss perceives to be the ultimate tough independent sexual free spirited women, who needs no men but due to their pride end up very likely ends up miserable and alone, unless you get a Ashley/Dave figure in their life to handle them. This has partly to do with her role in the narrative: As the mentor and not heroine, Ivy/Jessica are supposed to encourage and guide Bad Jess/Slut Lena, but not overtake them and ultimately be surpassed by them. Hence Ashley can succeeed being a porn star and Jessica didn't, hence Lena could score with Jack and will flourish and Ivy didn't and won't.

Either Eva doesn't know how to give Ivy a proper resolution, so she stays being that allegedly super slut that barely fucks anyone despite their reputation - or they will give Ivy one once she is finally getting in a relationship with Ian, Lena or someone else like Billy or Jeremy. The main flaw that explains this contradiction is that she barely got any development for 12 chapters. Jeremy and Ian got interested in her in chapter 1 and haven't fucked her, yet. The single male fuck she had was off-screen. Either because of writing issues in general or more specific the prevalent narrative rule that Ivy musn't have naughtier content than Lena, else the latters development is undermined.

TLDR: Ivy is doomed.
