Code:
            i "How long ago did you meet Gillian at the club?"
            $ fjeremy = "n"
            j "It was about... three or four weeks ago, I believe..."
            i "And who was she with? I take it she wasn't alone."
            j "I don't know, she was partying with a group of friends... There was this asian chick, what was her name...? I don't know who the others were, never met them before."
            i "Was she there with a guy? Her new... boyfriend."
            $ fjeremy = "sad"
            j "Could be..."
            i "You're not sure?"
            j "There was this guy, but..."
            i "What's he like?"
            $ fjeremy = "n"
            j "I don't know, man. He was just some dude. Why do you even care? Gillian's a thing of the past, and you've already moved on!"
It would have been interesting from a drama perspective if the mysterious bf was one of Ian's friends. This could have been really interesting to see Ian's reaction to G cheating on him with a friend on the Cindy route.

Jeremy is a bit of a weird character. Sometimes he comes off as a bro, other times he comes off as a bit shifty like when he clearly knows shit about Gillian but is keeping Ian out of the loop for some reason.

From his point of view, jeremy believes he is protecting ian from gillian hurting him more or getting back together with her. :HideThePain:

Pretty much, same reason he advises Ian to be cautious around Lena, especially after he hears rumors Lena fucks other guys. Including Jeremy :hidethepain:

While I believe that variety in the characters is important, I cannot deny that in this case it has worked against me, since those interested in Stan's route are not in the majority and that only causes it to continue to stagnate.

P.D: Eventually the author will have to address that route and I can only hope that he still wants to tell something interesting with it and it's not just a box to fill in to mark the game as completed.

If its a close friend to Ian, he would know. Its very difficult, if not flat out impossible in every friend group to keep that a secret, even more so since Gillian officially broke up and had a new boyfriend. By comparison, Ian and Cindy may manage to hide their affair for a short while from their friends, but once they get official, everyone will know, it would be nonsensical to have Wade and Perry be oblivious of it for the rest of their lifes.

For the most part he is a good friend. His blind spot is that he can be weak willed/spineless. This leads him to not be able to resist Lena and keep that secret from Ian, not tell Wade about Ian banging Cindy, not be willing to set clear boundaries with Louise, and be shifty when it comes to Gillian. It all ties back to his conflict avoidance and is a pretty consistent thing with his character.

Nah he just a douche of a friend who thinks he's all that but reality he's a scumbag of a "friend" that we really should have more a means to distant from himself.

It's funny that people want more Jeremy's content. Think about it, he's a fast shooter and is proven again and again. You all are playing into EKs hand. The dev will deliver a very small scene cuz Jeremy can't hold longer. He's the one who should get cucked if he enters a relationship. :KEK:
