But Stan turning out to be a little crook trying to screw over his flatmates (particularly if he isn't getting along with them or after being spurned by Lena) could potentially add to his characterization, which is for the time being pretty limited. Something this thread mentioned multiple times.I really don't see much value discussing this. Increasing rents add to Lenas financial struggle and the overarching effect urbanism has on the people. To have this plot point as a scheme for Stan magically becoming a blackmailer just goes nowhere.
