I completely agree with you. It doesn’t make much sense that those scenes between Lena and Ed were kept, especially since it’s clear EK has no plans to continue that route. They feel out of place now.

On top of that, they harm Ed’s character for no good reason. It takes away from the warm and friendly atmosphere of the café scenes with him and Molly, which were actually quite enjoyable. Having to either confront him or ignore his bad behavior toward Lena puts you in a tough spot. You’re forced to choose between keeping your relationship points or doing what feels right, and neither option is great.

Honestly, those parts should have been removed completely.
Do you really want to restart the whole game just to remove such an insignificant scene?

I don’t think the whole game needs a reboot just to fix this. Most of it could be handled by cutting some scripts and tweaking a few awkward conversations so they fit better with the game overall. That’s just my opinion and it doesn’t really affect the gameplay much. It feels more like a leftover issue that could be removed or adjusted.

In the end it’s not a big deal if EK decides not to fix it since most of the experience is pretty solid. Besides, EK has already made bigger changes in ORS without rebooting the whole game, just look at what happened to Stan for example ! :ROFLMAO:

And of course, I’m probably missing some things since others definitely know more about all the changes made during the game’s development.

Axel being the second biggest originally u could have a somewhat friendly relationship as Ian but it got changed fully to antagonist/rival relationship.

Oh yeah now that you mention it that rings a bell. I think I saw that brought up in the thread somewhere. Maybe all that’s left in the game is more or less the beginning, when Ian meets Axel at the nightclub and during their first photoshoot in his route with Cindy. There’s also a brief moment where he hangs out with Jeremy at a nightclub or bar and runs into Seymour and Axel before inevitably ending up disliking Axel throughout the rest of the game.

I can't stand Axel, but Axel like type of guys are in 99% fiction for women, either as a fratboy/jock or mafia/CEO. FMCs are always trying to "fix" them.

lol my favorite is probably one of the least popular ones I haven't played past chapter 8 I think so he might get worst. But other than doing a Ian and Lena save. I kind of like the idea of going for Stan I think that's his name the creepy nerdy roommate. Not sure if anything has happened yet I assume it has.

I've just finished playing the other AVN I was playing while I waited for the next update. I don't think harem games do it for me anymore. The fact they refuse to address the relationship status and when they do every girl is totally on board with sharing. It's just not as interesting. Cheating is a forgone concept as well as commitment. I much prefer ORS's relationship dynamics. You could be in a committed relationship while swinging. Or an open relationship. You could cheat or even form a throuple. Each girl too has their own views on commitment or sleeping around. You can't just get away with sleeping around while dating certain girls.

Also I found myself longing for actual competent rivals to compete against but the men in the game where just there to make the MC look good by comparison. I was so longing for an Axel( or even Robert). The mc doesn't even have to try very hard to win the affections of the girls because of course he doesn't. He has the biggest dick, is the best looking, so irresistible etc. The game won't even let you fail, I mean it does but it's very hard to fail. Ian has ruined male protagonists for me in AVNs lol.

edit: Another thing that annoyed me was how the mc declared that he loved all of them lol.

Hey everyone!
Adapting to the new environment has been interesting, lots to get used to and take care of, but my motivation for work remains strong. This past week, I’ve stayed focused on the script, and I’ve nearly completed the first of the two days that will make up the narrative arc of the next update.

I’ve been working on the spicier scenes, and that’s where the smooth writing rhythm I had got a bit interrupted. These parts require more careful structuring: deciding exactly which illustrations and narrative beats to include to keep the development clear and cohesive. I'm being very deliberate about what gets included and what gets cut, and I’m trying to design the scenes to be as modular as possible, interconnecting parts across different storylines to maximize content and payoffs without needing to create a ton of completely separate scenes.

Still, it's challenging to limit the scope and the number of art assets needed for each. The process is a bit messy, but I have a strong feeling that once everything is woven together and polished, it’ll make for a very rewarding experience.

I’m aiming to finish the storyboards and reference images this coming week so I can send them off to my collaborators, all while continuing to write and work on other illustrations and animations myself.

Believe it or not but you are a minority. The majority are perfectly fine with harem games absurdity.

This set reminds me of pool party environment from GGGB - so I only hope the scenes here will be just as hot

Other than Ian, Stan is also my favorite for various reasons.

You can honestly say the same thing about ian if ur just nice and loyal as him it's easy for him to score. You have to go out your way to make Ian a loser and it never feels natural. Since his problem not knowing how to get with girls. He just doesn't want to get burned by one again.

Ian has to put in more work though for some girls. Granted Holly and Alison do like Ian a lot already so they don't need convincing, Ian still has to put his best foot forward for some girls. Like Emma, she is into Ian but you still have to pass both lust checks to seduce her. For Minerva you have to pass a wits check for her to jump on your dick. And Cindy, woo boy you have to play your cards right or risk getting cucked by Axel. Even Alison I mentioned earlier sees other dudes if you don't commit to her. So sometimes even just being nice and loyal is not enough.
