I think I mixed Assault with battery, where I live they are the same thing(legally and language wise), but still spilling shit on somebody is illegal and violent and Emma is a little violent cunt for doing it.

As a criminal case it would most likely just get thrown out, there was no harm done except perhaps very lightly to Seymour's moral integrity. Without further continuation or escalation it would be difficult to even claim harassment or stalking.

And in terms of civil liability, c'mon Emma is not THAT broke. Even if you got the biggest weasel of a lawyer, you'd hardly get more than the value of the suit in reparations. Moral damages would also be minimal.

Other than the obvious stain on his face, yea, there was no indication. As a criminal case, seeing as how she admitted to doing it, threatened to do it again, in front of witnesses, and could argue that it damaged the suit, so you could add vandalism, it wouldn't be hard to win that if he did pursue it. Speaking as someone who has had someone spit in my face and technically no harm was done from it, it's still a criminal matter.

She works in retail in what everyone says is a bad economy and she intentionally stained a very expensive suit, not to mention the legal fees. That's $10,000 at least. Seymore just outright says she's not worth the effort, which is why Emma doesn't get in serious trouble.

I think I was mostly focused on the text when going through that scene so I didn't even see how insanely big the stain was in the sprite. I still think the way it is described in the text fits the scene better, with it just mostly soaking his suit (there wasn't even any mention of him getting a napkin to clean his face or anything like that, did he just go home with beer dripping from his forehead?) but I understand where people are coming from now.

Is there a comprehensive scene list by chapter anywhere? I haven't played much past CH 8, and was wondering what scenes are there in the later chapters.

You have a lot of Playthroughs to do if you wanna get the next 2 chapters of scenes. But I'm sure someone probably has some saves for you.
