I'm sorry but since good girl gone thread is almost dead, and this game far from finished, I know I feel stupid asking this and maybe this is not a thread to ask it but I would really appreciate if you guys know any similar games to this of gggb of ors where there's is branching storylines and your choices matter, you can be a good person or straight up evil please answer if you played a game that's this good cause after playing Eva kiss I'm really struggling to play any game as this set the bar way to high

Katie's corruption, if I'm not wrong is the one that inspired EvaK to write gggb, too bad the dev of that game rushed in the end.

Well, I have the same problem myself. I accidentally came across GGGB and while I am not into porn, I thought given how good this game is, maybe porn games are better than porn. So I tried a few other games and unfortunately, most are horseshit. Then EK started ORS and I was like "alright then, the porn industry is rubbish, it's just EK delivering quality on her own in an industry of mediocrity".

To be completely honest I find a bit of quality to some of them, like The Sword Bearer, but if you are looking for sth of the complexity, quality, subtlety, sophistication of GGGB and ORS, to my knowledge there is none.

I have tried that one. It is not the worst I have played, but beware, it is a few hundred leagues below GGGB.

Quality of writing, yes, above average porn standards but it's not much. Quality of drawings is very meh and outdated

To me GGGB is first and foremost a parody, and an incredibly complex one. Drawings have their own personal touch.

Not a masterpiece, well, I have checked and GGGB was until recently the top-rated game of the whole forum for years, and it is still in the top 20 five years later.

Still, I'd very muck like you to name a couple of games you consider masterpieces, so I can have a look. Thanks.

I never play games with that sort of design, just like I never play the ones drawn like a manga. It is not my thing at all.

Hmm the only art style that sort of gives me a revulsion is the one with insanely overblown body proportions (and even then i'll still play Superhuman, literally for the plot) so i don't get this mentality pretty much at all.

Discarding any game with anime/manga style, that's probably missing out on half of the porn games out there if not more, right from the start. Which i suppose could also explain why you don't know any games better than EK's.

For me the thing that puts ORS in my top 5 games is that the characters could (more or less) pass for real people, specially the female characters. That would seem as something basic but it's quite rare to encounter in other games. I also love the art but I agree with you that the art has to be quite bad for me to disqualify a game just for it.

Try Silver Lining, The Promise we made, College Craze, The Singer, Unholy Angel or Alice through rabbit hole. Most of them are in early stages but very promosing.

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but Inner Empire has excellent writing.

It has a very well-written female protagonist and a rich and detailed original world set between the Bronze Age and the Iron Age in which you must make a lot of decisions that will have an impact on the rest of the game. You can define your character's origin and abilities, but always keep in mind that you are just a normal young girl without any special or unique powers.

I consider it one of the best games along with those made by Eva Kiss.

You might be surprised, but I actually agree with most of what you've written. My aesthetic mentality is specific and yes I know that I discard not half but pretty much 90% for the porn production. I take ownership of this fact. I am just not into this, I came onto that forum pretty much for EK and becaus of Covid. You can say it: I am not a porn game fan, just an EK fan.

Try Silver Lining, The Promise we made, College Craze, The Singer, Unholy Angel or Alice through into rabbit hole. Most of them are in early stages but very promosing.

The only one I know from those is The Singer and it is pure horseshit.

Is a text based game.

It has portraits of the characters, and maps of the world. The rest is left to the imagination.

Luckily it makes up for it with good writing and a very interesting story. Personally I consider it one of the hidden gems of this site.
