)I'm gonna hold off until the full update drops, but I'm wondering what would be the potential routes for Gillian. It's kinda hard to form paths that stay consistent.
- If Ian is single, obviously there could be the "get back together" route.
- Ian makes her his side bitch. I can think of a situation where she came crawling back for whatever reason. Ian has very few cheating routes available compared to Lena, mostly because of the personality of the girls and how they wouldn't want to fuck over Lena. Gillian has wronged him, and isn't in the other girls' social circle, so she might fit the bill.
- NTR route? This depends on if she is a major character I guess. If Ian can get back together with her... maybe she can screw around again depending on player choices.
- Maybe she's just for Ian's character development and won't play a big role.
- Most unlikely, but it could be fun if we get some "NTR reveal" situation. Basically, Ian (and the player) starts to get more details on her cheating past. Perhaps some videos or something... but this devalues the other routes because it would become the canon events of the past. Like if she was getting gang banged by 4 black guys in the past, I don't think anyone but NTR fans would go anywhere near her lol. So I don't think we'll get something like this if she is a romanceable character.

Anyone know if there is a requirement for the gillian scene, in the one save i tried yesterday i did not encounter her and its a playthrough done with chapter 10.
Hey BloodyMares do you plan to continue the walkthrough? I dont like the mods and such, cause they change too much and i want to play the game like its supposed to be, but there are so many ways to go about it, its just impossible to figure out some routes without the walkthrough of yours (and Zoey Ravens), but it ends at v.9, so i hope it will go on?

I don't get why some people are upset with Gillian's return. "Drama for drama's sake" Drama is the point. There are a lot of scenes here that progressed into sex quickly. Would you listen to someone complaining, "Porn for porn's sake"? Unlike other games, ORS actually has good character development and drama. Ian is already recovering, and depending on your choices, could be starting to get into a committed relationship. This will lead to better story arcs. Instead of your typical, "Heartbroken person lost trust but found the right person to love again" trope (more common with female protagonist finding the right man in romance stories), this could lead to more heartaches and send Ian spiralling back, or make proud proclamations of "I have moved on and I am happy" to the person who broke Ian's trust. This could also lead to wild plots like Ian's voyeurism that was explored with Allison or Lena's Stalkfap. Not having Gillian return would be a missed opportunity for the story, especially since this is an interactive fiction where you can choose decisions for characters, and not a novel or TV show.
I will say this though, I wish Gillian's return wasn't so early. There are a lot of subplots where their conflicts are increasing and becoming more tense. Having yet another major conflict introduced so quickly can be disorienting. I wish Ian's relationships were deeper and progressed further before Gillian returned. This way, the "will he or won't he go back" question is much harder to answer.

Me neither, From ch.1 it was clear to me she will return at some point for at least a little bit. So I am not surprised at all.
Plus, in her last Q&A EvaKiss said Gillian will appear again.

if people were not complaining about it I wouldn't even know it was happening, my save file has nothing with her in it. I assume you need to be playing a certain way for her to appear in the chapter 11 prologue?
I don't disagree that her return is unnecessary, but you raise a lot of good points.
This game really needs to move faster, and by faster I don't mean story wise or anything, the work on the game needs to be faster and we need to get a chapter monthly. Now that is probably not possible, but this game really takes a long time and there needs to be a whole lot more of it and I don't really want to wait 2-3 years, but I obviously will wait.
There is so much game here so much possibility and so many routes and so many different things that can and can't happen that should be able to happen. There just isn't enough of EvaKiss to create everything. Where is that cloning technology when you need it.
