It absolutely doesn't depend -- Lena is only blocked from refusing Axel if she has active variable lena_axel_desire. This variable starts as false and it's only activated by player's choices. Like, for example, "cheating with Lena ONCE as a mistake".

So, it is absolutely up to the player. It's simply a consequence of much earlier choice(s).

Also, I think you have a misguided view on how easy and likely is getting to be a pro streamer (or youtuber) starting from zero, you only know the successful cases not the tens of thousands of nobodies with less than 100 viewers. Which, by the way, it's not Wade's dream, his dream is being an esports pro player, which is not only far fetched for him but has practically 0 long term future (what about when he's 40?).

And getting published is not super difficult, you can even self-publish your book. Being the next JK Rowling kind of sucesfull is extremely unlikely, but I bet there are more people in the world getting a decent income (not rich by any means) from writing than from esports.
