I can understand the want to take Emma from him. But would you ever choose to live with someone like him?Perry is a necessary evil at the moment, I guess eva will give us the option to punch him out at some point. For the moment I'm satisfied with having taken emma away from him.
Even if he paid the entire apartment cost and utilities I would never choose to live with a person like that.
There are enemies in my life that I would live with first before living with a person with such a personality.

Perry invited one of his friends to ian's party, even though he knew that friend was a drug addict.
Perry isn't necessary at all.
There is nothing that Perry brings to the story that can't be done better other ways other than being the annoying shit he is.
The connections can be built through jobs, events, locations. The conflicts and jealousies discovery of betrayal and cheating can all be found better ways.
Having the MC roommate with such a character is absorbed. It would be worse than living with Newman from Seinfeld.

Not true at all. You have to go to those location anyway. You have to meet those people they do their jobs and have events.
All it takes is something like one person seeing another or double booking...
Take Ian fucking Cindy in the street. Ivy comes out who is to say Ivy doesn't snitch and tell Lena?
Or one of them shows up at the house to surprise the other one while they are cheating...
You already have the scenes in place a few lines of dialog is the only added change needed.
For that matter it might not just turn into them being upset it could turn into them peeping or wanting to join in...
They already have the scenes and character dolls for building all the dialog events.
As I said Perry is completely unnecessary.
