I'm starting to wonder what Ian will be doing next chapter. Lena will probably have most of her next chapter dedicated to Billy's event, so what is Ian going to be doing? Have we been given a date for his book contest? I know it's coming soon, so it feels most likely, but I was under the impression it was still a little ways off. Another MMA fight would be told to us before hand, surely? Especially since several characters mentioned being wanting to be present to cheer for Ian.

There can be some action at the new office, more development of Natalie and Clark. Minerva or Holly can swing by to visit for lunch or something. But I think he would still need another set piece besides the office, if that is the case. I suppose looking for a new place to live could be a possibility, regardless of Perry, but how to tie in a LI to that? Especially on a fuck boy or Lena only path. Going back to the Blazar with Jeremy, Cindy, Allison, or Emma perhaps? Cherry will probably be back next chapter too. A solo date with her, instead of with Allison involved?

Nothing wrong with a little low stakes, back to the early chapter situations, especially since Billy's event has a lot of craziness potential to it. I feel like we really need this update to get an understanding of what the future holds for Ian.

You don't feel the same dread on an easy or cheat playthrough cause Lena cannot get to the same position.

Also, choices are more impactful cause the are tied to your stats. Sometimes your stats may not be high enough to pass a certain skill check so it encourages you to build your characters in different ways and this encourages you to replay the game in different ways as well.

You can create your own narrative even in cheating mod when the game doesn't restrict you on certains choices. Or do you need the game to aknowledge that your decisions are valid?

Yes you can but it feels Hollow in comparison. In cheat mode you aren't as limited in choices and money. I very much enjoy the limitations and opportunity costs.

Having cheat mode on does change the story/make things less believable. How can Lena be broke and desperate to the point of signing with Seymour if she starts the game able to afford everything.

Having cheat mode makes every decision less important. And in a game where the gameplay is choices that has an effect on the enjoyment. Of course just wanting to see scenes is valid and nothing wrong with cheat mode. But for the most authentic experience, normal mode is the best for it.

I imagine he'll be getting his work performance review if he's working at Seymour's company. Perhaps also potentially facing Seymour making certain requests if Lena has denied him during the trip to Rome (or even if she didn't)?

It doesn't affect CindyxAxel RP. You'll just get some dialogue variance, and I feel it makes Cindy more comfortable and bolder towards the camera, which is a good thing for an aspiring model.

Agree with you guys! The not a loser, fullblown nerdy/wisdomy Ian is the favourite Ian for me. He is very versatile and you can still develop some of his hotness and fighting side.
For his romances I prefer in no order Alison (romance and the slightly wild ones), Holly (encouraged nerd and slutty variants) and Lena (romance and slightly wild variants)

It ain't so much a preference imo as it's her patreon fanbase dictating how things go lol

If you follow her patreon for a lil while you gon notice that the vast, no... The CRUSHING majority of her patronbase are comically obsessed with those themes.

Which is to be expected since it's a niche fetish so the very second you start entertaining people into it, it becomes all or nothing.

Hell if she kept Billy black like he was early on ORS would be a GGGB remake lol

I'd say the game is really good the way it is right now, plus we got to have Jose Aldo as Ian's striking coach and Jordan Peterson as his father, which is priceless.
