I mean, this reasonable and considerate approach still includes "I'll see if I'm truly interested in starting something serious with her" which strongly indicates that Ian currently isn't truly interested in starting something serious with Louise, at least not to the point where he'd believe it himself. He chooses to just make her believe that he is, mainly to avoid delay drama.

Considering that the same value "1" is used both to mark the "let's not hurry" option regardless of which route you take, and one of them is naked "hell nope", i'm inclined to believe that both are intended for the same thing -- that is, to keep hooking up with Louise while making her believe that Ian wants something serious with her. While the truth is, he doesn't, either 100% or ~95%

After all, the Wits Ian x Cindy approach isn't used for two different outcomes, if we want to continue looking at it as analogy.

(not to mention, EK seems to absolutely relish dragging Louise through the mud for some reason, so i don't really see her somehow be able to bring herself to give Louise relationship some sort of actual and healthy ending

Yes, there is Ian x Lena x Holly throuple path, just continue playing and have Lena try to kiss Holy every time opportunity arises, eventually Holly will kiss Lena, i deleted all my saves so I'm not sure in which chapter.

Of course there are other conditions, like Ian going to book fair with Holly and kissing her (but not having sex). This step is not necessary, as pointed out by ffive.

Note, this isn't actually necessary. Ian only needs to express some positive feelings about Holly, something he can do early on. And then don't shoot the idea down when Holly brings him the news about liking Lena in Ch.12.

When Ian is dating Lena then the trinity forms almost entirely because Lena and Holly get hots for each other.

No offense, but what you're doing right now is also kind of a parody by itself: you see a sexy tomboy bro-girl with a fat ass and perverted mind, and the only thing you care about is that she has a couple of scenes where her naive political activism (which, let's be honest, perfectly fits her free-spirited character) is mentioned. SPOILER ALERT: this game has no perfect characters, everyone is flawed and dumb (or even outright disgusting) in some way.
