Cherry is the female Robert,shes only there so Ian can have sex early in the game with someone who inst part of his friends group.
It's interesting, because for me, Cherry is, probably, the only true waifu in the game. I mean this game obviously pushes MC toward Lena, Holly or Alison in the terms of girls you can form a true bond without being a jerk towards your friends, but... Holly NEEDS protection and love she can get only from Ian and Lena and, well, those shy girls are great IRL but in porn game? Not so much, couse I want to fuck around without feeling like shit. So Lena and Holly are a couple in my game. And maintaining a relationship with Alison just woudln't let you fuck around to begin with. I don't even mind her sleeping with Jeremy, but she basically rushes him every second MC is not around and that is just unsetteling.
Then there are Cindy and Emma, but Cinders is shallow as fuck and you are cucking your friend in the process. Bad foundation for a relationship. Emma is great, but she is Perry's dream girl and have feelings for him so you can fuck her, but, in the end, she will probably pursue him.
Minerva is sexy as hell but married, Louise is nonexistent in Ian's game, Ivy isn't for serious relationships and Gillian is for cuck connoseurs only. That only leaves Cherry. She is sexy, smart, she makes art... You can bond with her and fuck around.

Cherry shows similar ethics to Gillian, though. That is, sure, she'll repeatedly say she's soooo sorry she did stuff she knew was wrong, but all that remorse didn't stop her from doing what she wanted rather than be upfront about it.
So, you know. Caveat emptor and all that.

A good assessment although Cherry was fucking Axel behind Lena's back, that rules her out of the decent girl category for me. I enjoy exploring their paths in the game, but sheesh, not a chance would I date these people in RL. The only high value girl is Holly. The rest are hook up value at best.

Well, you can shape Lena pretty much exactly like you want in the game due to extra agency, so she's objectively hard to beat as potentially the best. Although i imagine this can feel weird for people who self-insert rather than view characters as separate entities.
I tend to excuse Cherry's behavior because she doesn't try to. She did a bad thing, admits it as such and she isn't proud of it. There is something compelling about it.
And, yeah, Holly is the best girl for relationship PERIOD. But for porn game she is a bit too proper and good.
I made the same mistake initially, but i think they meant the book reviews Ian is doing in CH.11. There's no guide for these, because the results aren't yet scripted in the game.

The Cindy's storyline is the most exciting for me, but the lack of progress in the last chapter wasn't good for her charеcter development
I agree. Cherry is remorseful. She knows she did wrong. The question is though, would you trust Cherry enough to consider her relationship material? If another guy like Axel comes along would she stay faithful or cheat? Myself, I wouldn't be interested in tempting fate. That is not to say Cherry isn't sweet and a nice girl, but....
Holly would be the only one I'd trust 100% to build a life with. Anyway, its erotica so it is irrelevant. I just like to put these things out there.
For all we know Axel has been progressing with Cindy in the last chapter, alright.
I think Lena will see Gillian with someone, and Axel and Cindy together in the club on Friday (with Cindy's attitude to him decided by how she stands with Ian)
I was having a hard time articulating why I like Ian's scenes with Cherry and I think you hit the nail on the head. I really feel like I'm interacting with a person aware of their flaws while not fully capable of overcoming all of them. But not in the socially awkward way that it is with Holly.
I'm also into the dynamic of Ian battling his own insecurities by hooking up with and getting to know to a woman who broke up someone else's relationship.

Looking at the current poll, I expected Holly to almost catch up to Cindy as the fan favorite after all the content Eva Kiss has been shoveling with her in all the various paths, but it hardly made a difference.
Alison, still getting only about 10% of the total votes, remains hilarious, too. With the amount of screen time, a shit-ton of sex scenes, and various outcomes, you would expect she'd be more popular among the fan base despite her character flaws.
