From what we've seen from their situation so far I completely understand where Cindy is coming from. It seems like whatever fire Wade had that attracted Cindy has all but died. At a certain point if you have to constantly push for your partner to spend time with you I'd start to think she wasn't interested. Now I'd never cheat but it makes perfect sense for her to think that the grass is greener.

Honestly I can understand how Cindy would be responsive to Ian/Axel's potential advances. If your current partner seems to have little interest in you wouldn't you enjoy being around people who actually make an effort to show that they like being around you? Wade also doesn't look good because it seems like all he does is mooch off of Cindy while playing video games all day.

If it was written that Wade was actually depressed due to the death of a parent and that's what caused him to lose his job I'd be more sympathetic. Considering that Wade and Cindy were shown to be hyper competitive I'm actually surprised that we never saw Wade joining Ian/Jeremy at the gym after meeting Axel.

As it stands there is absolutely no reason to think the relationship will work out because it seems that Wade wants to put out only the bare minimum of effort to show that he actually cares. It really seems like the dev wrote their story as if to say some relationships are just doomed.(besides the obvious cheating fetish angle)

I mean, if I am in Cindy's shoes, meant to have her perspective and experiences, how could I have any opinion of her behaviour that isn't understanding? What's the exercise in judging her if we're only supposed to do it through her own lens?

It's funny how Cindy gets so much hate and yet Wade doesn't. I'll admit I like Cindy's character, just hope if do romance her with Ian there is an option to not lose her to Axel et-al.

However, I think if we are all being brutally honest, if you try and equate a VN to real life, any woman...certainly in my long time on this earth, would fuck off if they were being treated how they are by someone like Wade, who ultimately, again being honest, is as much as a fucking loser as Perry or Stan in reality.

No self-respecting woman of her league (and Cindy is way above Wade's league) would put up with it. Is the cheating bad/wrong? Sure, but as has been said, it's there for the porn/kink effect, nothing more. Take that aside for a moment and would anyone really blame her for looking elsewhere. As I've said before, I hope they do split regardless, make for interesting story with the friend dynamics.

But thats the thing wasn't Wade shown as being a catch himself? He was in a band and I think it also said that he was fit and attractive until he got with Cindy. It really seems that he's suffering from depression or there was some other trauma that explains his shift in personality.(did he love his old job that much?)

I just think it's unfortunate that the dev shot down the depression angle so early. Not only would there be a reason to be sympathetic towards Wade his actual character could serve a point to the story. As it stands if Wade was removed nothing of value would be lost.

Wade was and is not a full character, but a secondary one to Cindy. He barely has agency, almost everything around him revolved on whether he can maintain his relationship with Cindy.
By contrast, Cindy can remain with Wade, but also end up with Axel or Ian or independent with a model career.
Currently this is evident with the upcoming beach scene. It includes Ian, Perry, Emma, Wade and potentially Lena and Holly. Everyone of these characters has different roles and possible relationships. Wade has no role there, unless Lena or Ian adress that Cindy may leave or cheat him. Once again, his character would evolve around Cindy.
Could he looking for a new partner? Could he cheat Cindy with someone? All of this involves agency which he hasn't.

You're right, it's a relationship that is doomed from the beginning because Wade is a loser who lives in the past and Cindy feels that their relationship no longer works, especially when she starts modeling, unless we have a miraculous option that doesn't create that relationship. It's lost, you just have to know when it's going to happen.

Mr. Bubu said in his walkthrough that Alison inviting Ian to her house despite already breaking up might not be a bug—which mean this action is logical for her character—yet, it's a bug. She just got disappointed at Ian and decided to fuck Jeremy not long after.

Put yourself in Cindy's shoes as if you ARE Cindy, what you think about Cindy's behavior towards Wade and Wade's behavior towards Cindy? Prior the cheating aspect with Ian but if you want to shed light on it you're welcome to do so.

Clear sign of both just give up trying to communicate and understand each other. A 3rd party playing marriage counselor (like Ian) is exactly what they need; a fresh and relatively unbiased perspective of what they've done wrong and what they could've improve.

Alison only tries to seduce Ian in chapter 11 if she has high relationship points with him. The break-up in chapter 10 reduces them too much. It also makes story wise sense that she doesn't try it in that case since Ian just recently shut her down.

Even if Wade cheats on Cindy during the vacation he's still a character that has no real presence in the game.

If that happens then the Cindy/Wade story tension breaks apart. If Wade cheats then Ian and Cindy could shift the blame on Wade saying that he cheated first, Cindy went to Ian for comfort which caused them to get together. Wade may get upset but to the friends he cheated first so I think they'd side with Ian/Cindy in that event. Perry may also not like that they got together but can't get too upset because again Wade actually cheated even if their relationship was having a rough patch.

It feels like playing with a premade character in an RPG. I think these types of games work better when we can mold them from nothing rather than getting someone who already has experience in a variety of things.

Yes, both Lena and Ian are established characters, just like everyone else in the cast. They're 22 and 26 respectively, it's normal for them to have defined backstory and experiences that go beyond "fresh out of high school know-nothing" blank slate from games which are all about corruption. (because, let's be honest, this is really what people who say they want to "mold character from nothing" actually seek)

It's okay if that isn't your thing, but it doesn't by any metric make Lena poorly designed. Her design simply doesn't align well with your goals/interests -- her potential story arcs don't really include "corruption", that's more of a thing for Holly, which you mention. Also, ironically, perhaps for Cindy who has never cheated on her partner before and can be led down this path by Ian (who can also make her enjoy some things she wouldn't before)
